Silent Nomad Posted May 3, 2015 I need to take the print of the lower two pockets, and nothing else, off of the below torso for a custom WS civilian Steve Rogers I'm making, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I've heard that pencil erasers work, but I don't know how precise that method would be. I've also heard about Brasso, but I'm not sure I want to buy a whole bottle, even a small one, just for one project. I had the idea of Goo Gone on a Q-Tip, but I'm not sure if that'd work. I'd really appreciate some suggestions from seasoned customizers, since this is my first non-purist custom minifigure. Here's the torso: I'll post the finished minifigure here when I have the rest of the parts.
emilstorm Posted May 3, 2015 Mask the print you Want to keep with tape, then use eraser/Brasso or any other method on the rest.
Silent Nomad Posted May 3, 2015 Mask the print you Want to keep with tape, then use eraser/Brasso or any other method on the rest. I can't believe I never thought of that, because my family was painting our house not long ago and there was a lot of masking there, so I should be familiar with the concept. Thanks. Robianco Posted May 4, 2015 Can you post a BL link to that torso? I'd like to replace the HP tracksuit torso I'm currently using! Cheers!
Silent Nomad Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) No one is currently selling the torso on its own, so here's the listing for the full minifigure. That HP torso is the one I originally thought of using, before I saw The Lego Nolan use this one from Vern, in the Purist Superhero Figures thread. Robianco Posted May 4, 2015 That's great... Cheap enough as it is so I'll put an order in for one! Cheers.
