Cetro, Master of Acid

19438428811_0f03397575_c.jpg

A young, rookie of a Toa, Cetro controls the element of Acid with much care. Armed with two acidic cleavers and the Mask of Acid, Cetro is eager to help those in need, at least with some direction.

(This guy totally isn’t a proxy of Hero Factory’s Evo in a Bionicle setting. Nope, totally not.)

Neat, kinda lanky but I think that was intentional. I'd hope you swap the Hero Factory printed armor off though. Would the tubes look better if attached to the y-balljoints and not to the torso armor? It was also a good idea to use a bit darker color for the head so it stands out.

I kinda don't want to remove the printed shell, as it continues the detail from the chestplate through the body. I know the HF symbol is there, but that can always be perceived as something else. As for the position of the tubes, I did try them on the socket pieces (which is why they were even put their originally) but having the tubes sprout here caused some interference in arm motion.

Ah yes, proudly displaying the Hero Factory company logo on his crotch

I have always loved bright yellow and lime as a color scheme, and you've done a good job of balancing it out here (I never realized how well that breastplate would work with this color scheme.) And I like the take on a gearbox, the shoulder armor looks nice as a result.

Also finally someone uses those swords

I will agree though, I'm not a fan of where the tubes are currently placed

That shoulder armor is genius, and your torso armoring in general is really skillful. The lack of complete armoring (due to CCBS) is a mild annoyance, but overlookable for the fantastic color palette and design.

The lack of complete armoring

Mind clarifying what you mean by that? I'm guessing you mean the back of the legs? Well, if that's the case, I shall be experimenting in future with using System pieces on the back of bones to help fill in some space, so this may be the last time you see bones that exposed on one of my MOCs.
