Mr. Lego-builder Posted June 21, 2005 Looks so nice. Accurate too. And I just love how he made the sails with bricks instead of fabric.

Bonaparte Posted September 9, 2006 This ship looks great. I'm just building a ship with about the same color schema (red/black/(white)). Now I can get an idea of the result. Great find!
El Bucanero Posted September 9, 2006 Looks veryy good, the sails are creative and they work good, the colour scheme is perfect for a ship like this, too bad there aren't any interior pics...
Mister Phes Posted September 10, 2006 This looks pretty good, but given I'm hungover and it feels like there is a fire inside me I can't really go into much more detail at this moment.
Captain Ironhook Posted September 11, 2006 There is to be pirates of a china heritage in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie however I have a question from this. Did china pirate ever sail from their country to the Caribean or is this just fiction we see for the movie?
El Bucanero Posted September 12, 2006 China doesn't sails to the Caribbean, but the rescue-Jack-Sparrow team sails to China. But I don't understand what the krakens dinner has to do there...
Mister Phes Posted September 12, 2006 Where's your spoiler alert Mr Tiber? However, I think Captain Ironook is asking if there were REALLY (as in real history) Chinese in the Caribbean. Correct me if I'm wrong Captain!
El Bucanero Posted September 12, 2006 Ehhh sorry about that, but I believe this was said before in this thread, so no spoiler I say.
Mister Phes Posted September 12, 2006 Ahhhhhh but we must bare in mind not everyone reads all the threads so it is still a spoiler until the movie is released. Not that it was a major spoiler and not that I have a problem with them, but someone else might. And we can't ruin At World's End for another laddie, now can we? I did not meen in the Pirate Caribbean Movies I meen did pirates in real history sail from china to be in the Caribbean and commit the acts of piracy and such? Here's a link to an article about Asian Piracy. From what I gathered they didn't mention any Asian Pirates sailing to Caribbean, but that doesn't refute the claim. I have a few pirate books around here, which might contain some valuable information... I shall ask UltraLux for he seems to have an extensive historical knowledge. He loves his documentaries you see. Where is the almighty UltraLux? I haven't seen him around these parts lately.
