#71986 is not bendable, only bricks with the ribbon icon to them have flexibility enabled in LDD...as far as I know ;)

What Zblj meant is that 71986 is indeed flexible in LDD, and he wanted you simply to do a quick check in LDD yourself before replying. I understand your reply was meant in the best of intention, so I think this was just a case of an experienced forum and LDD user meeting a newer one :classic: (now, how's that for diplomacy :sweet: )

As a general comment, when you see that someone has a "LDD Builder"-tag, you can normally estimate that they ask valid questions (and I'm mentioning that to bak318 also). The LDD tag is awarded to LDD users that have been here in the forum for some time, or has a high skill in LDD. There is an equivalent tag for Ldraw users.

In this case, what Zblj is asking for is someone with programming or "manual LXFML-tweaking" skills, such as bbqqq to help curve the 71986. Now, let's see if someone picks up the bone :sweet: (pun intended)

no problem, I just wanted to help, that's all, if I didn't understand the question then I excuse as I did + I did try to bend it of course but with no luck (maybe still does not understand something but I understand bending in LDD as pressing F click one end and bend it to some extent to some stud and the brick he was asking cannot be bedned in that sense at least not here in my LDD where only bricks that have that ribbon icon to tham are able to bend, if it means something else then I really do not understand and you can ignore my unadequate answers :D )

yea, my intention was really meant in a good manner, I usualy do not look what person has what icon or word underneath they nick cos to me it is ridiculous, as many times even such people can ask something that they for some reason don't know, sorry :) and also many times I witnessed people with high ranks asking/doing stuff that "greenhorn" would do, so...you never know :)

Simply I saw a question I thought I know answer to, and so I put my answered.

Not meant harm to anyone - peace. ;)

Sorry didnt want any hard feelings... You use bend tool and there is an icon next to the part meaning its bendable...but not bendable enough it seems.

@Superkalle:

At first, the question wasn't if anybody could bent it with lxfml programming.

You assumed that he was asking something different then he wrote.

Just like bublible said, Even with lot of experience you can ask sometimes simple stuff, just because you have for a moment a blind spot.

The way you think that "new to this forum so new to ldd" is another thing.(written all over in your reaction).

I'm not that into forums and joint this one to see if i like it.

I use LDD since october 2008 on an almost daily base, have experience with making programs since 1986.

So you can't say i'm a rookie in ldd.

This additude i see here is the reason why i don't like forums, you have to crawl if you want to joint, your reaction is in a way "we are better than you".

So for me this is enough reason to say "have a nice day and goodbye".

I think you are overreacting a bit here.

Excuses have been made and as far as I can tell nobody is offended except you for some reason.

Furthermore, stating that you have to crawl on these forums to join is flat out ridiculous. I have seen adult people post MOC's looking like a 3-year old made them, and still get positive feedback (not only here btw but across all LEGO forums).

I am relatively new on these forums and have never experienced anything like you are describing. It must be down to your interpretation of people of various countries and languages trying to communicate about a shared hobby. Chill out and you can be part of a great community.
