Any news on Technic set 8289 Fire truck?

This set sounds very neat. I have been waiting a long time for a Technic Fire truck. I hope it is a large $85-$150 set. Does anyone kow anything about this or any other new 2006 Technic sets?

This is the first i'm hearing of it.  I'm guessing it will becoming out middle of the year like the tractor, and tow truck.

Lucky French get it for 49.99 whereas elsewhere it's around 69.99 to 74.99, not counting non-Euro countries :-P

That's a good price, 49.99 for over 1000 pieces! I won't be getting it, but it looks nice :-P

darn... I forgot to write the price down, It was either 70 or 80$ USD... too much for me to buy today.

Wow, I had totally forgot about this one!  I thought we were done with Technic for the year.  I'm going to try to track this one down tomorrow if it is already in TRU out here in California.

Yup. Saw this at TRU yesterday. $79.99 U.S.  I'll probbly be picking this up on the 15th. (my next payday!)
