technic70s Posted July 22, 2015 If your a fan of Lego in Perth, Western Australia, you may want to check out this show Bricktober - Perth 2015 is a fun yearly event that showcases models built from LEGO®® by fans of the brick in Perth W.A. This year will feature the themes of: City and Trains, Friends, Technic®, Star Wars®, Disney Princesses®, Elves® , Lone Ranger® , Superheroes & much much more! This year we have moved to a bigger venue and will be running the event over 2 days. 10th & 11th October 2015 9am - 5:30pm CANNINGTON EXHIBITION CENTRE AND SHOWGROUNDS Cnr Albany Hwy & Station Street - Cannington Tickets can be pre purchased at www.bricktober.info/booking2015 Cost $8 each - plus booking fee or Family of 4 - $25 - plus booking fee * * A 30 cent ticket booking fee applies per head. Children under the age of 2 years are admitted free. We will have timed sessions this year every 50 minutes to ease the long queues. Competitions on the day of BUILD IN A BAG, SPEED BUILD and RAPID MOC BUILD (please note numbers are limited - sign up on the day) Plus you can drive a LEGO® Train or Drive a Technic model with a remote. Buy a raffle ticket to win cool LEGO® sets. Take a guess at the number of pieces in a jar of LEGO® and win the Jar of LEGO®. Purchase LEGO® from one of the many sellers. But there is free stuff you can do before the show with a chance to win tickets to the show. You can enter our COLOURING COMPETITION and Shoe Box MOC (Make your own creation) There are prizes for different age groups and Boys and Girls and even an AFOL category - details are on the Facebook page and website. We also have a unique competition for under 16 year old LEGO® fans called “The Future Exhibitors Competition” where 3 of the best creations will be invited to exhibit at the show.
