Lego Technic GoPro studio

I recently started using video in their new gadget - GoPro Hero 4. And it prompted me to think a combination of mechanisms Lego video and photo shooting. I think it is quite promising direction. What do you think of it?

Action camera GoPro Hero4 in my opinion it is not only well-advertised brand, but also a very useful thing when shooting Lego Technic MOCs. I decided to dream a little and make their tools and fasteners for this camera and this is what came out of it.

I am very impressed with your GoPro Studio. I recently got a GoPro and find it a very capable camera. I am impressed by it's small size combined with it's many modes. I made a GoPro LEGO device that I plan to post as soon as I finish editing the video.

Some of your ideas are really great, I hope to get time to build something similar, at least with some similar functions. I really like your GoPro holder, it seems that as secure as it is it could be useful in a number of ways, including non-LEGO.

Anyway yeah cool stuff there! I do struggle with filming and it's always good to see how other people solves the same problems! I like a lot the idea of a winch to pull the camera!!!

I'd worry a bit that there are no rubber pieces anywhere, i.e. vibrations could ruin the video easier than if you'd use 2L rubber liftarms or tyres or something else rubbery and soft.

Something I always wanted to try was how industrial light and magic made the special effects in the first 3 movies, a camera would move and the space ship model stays still and when its all complete it looks like the model is really flying, no strings lol.

Yeah, GoPro is another expensive hobby. Those of us who do both LEGO and GoPro... Well...

In many respects GoPro is just like LEGO... First you buy the camera, then you find many accessories that you "must have".

I am always impresses by the folks who make GoPro accessories, especially out of LEGO!

It is fun to combine the two hobbies.

That sounds like fun! How would you do something like that in LEGO, beyond what filsawgood did?

and which is not bad either.

Lego rubber connectors are also good for fixing, but do not protect 100% of the flight the camera out of the case .. Therefore, I decided to collect as more rigid structure.

Sariel's "LEGO method" holds the camera surprisingly well, even on fairly bumpy rides. I used this recently on my trophy truck and it only fell once: when the whole car drop off a 50 cm. cliff. Even held strong after hitting a tree or light post
