Hi, this is my 6x6 I'm currently working on. I am planning on adding a box on the back and taking off the turn table that is posing as a fifth wheel.

It looks surprisingly good, well done :classic: That's an interesting suspension system you've got there, could you get a photo of the whole truck from a bit further away so we can get an idea of the whole truck?

nice combo of studded, studless and system :)

Any problems with the universal joint between the rear axles binding with the suspension movement? It looks like a similar issue motorcycle swingarms have with changing geometry length (ie distance between arms on the triangle change length as the axle to axle suspension angles change).

love the mix of the old and the new - i like to build like that too

no differentials means a lot of straight line torque but a large turning circle....

I like it and it looks like something I can learn from! Maybe stupid questions from a beginner, but I don't understand how some parts work:

How are the "liftarm frames" (don't know the word) in the rear axles attached? You also have some links between them.

How is the the steering working?

Thanks for the feedback. :classic: I will take more detailed pictures of the suspension, drivetrain, and steering when I get more work done. But just for now, I have a servo geared down with two conical gears. Then a universal joint on both ends of an axle that is connected to the rack and pinion. And for bonox, I have set up the drive shaft and suspension links in a parallelogram shape so the distance is always the same.

Interesting rear axles with one side of bracing on the bottom :classic: Id never go without :tongue: i always feel the need to brace things overly well

Hi again, sorry but no pictures this time :sadnew: I have ran into a problem overtime about breaking universal joints. As of now, I have cracked 2 and broke one u joint on this single model :angry: So now I'm looking for a solution. Any suggestions?

Which u joints has it been? It could be a number of things depending on the one that has cracked

Mist this line the first time... :wink: so here we go... :laugh: no just kidding, but seriously:

Building chassis for trucks both on- and off-road I have quite some experience with. I really love the "quick" build of this, if I may call it that... The way the axles are build and suspended seems a little weak. Not sure what your intensions are for this build off course, but how do you look at what I write yourself?

Nice gear ratio in the axles by the way!!!
