Eurobricks Event 2014 - GROUPS

Recommended Posts

For few activities during the day we have to split into smaller groups as we can't do all activities with a group of 52 persons.

Each group has a 'group leader' who's to make sure the group gets at the right place at the right time. The group leaders I've selected are people who've been to Billund many times and (should) know their way around.

IMPORTANT: I'll be needing the names of all the +1's, +2's and +3's, so please share them here in this topic.

Here's are the 4 groups:

Group 1:

Bonaparte (group leader)

Scubacarrot

Christian

Rufus and Pandora

Cwetqo +2

Redhead1982

Aredhel

Chocolatecake

I Scream Clone

Rick

Group 2:

Copmike (group leader)

Group 3:

Holodoc (group leader)

MstrOfPppts

Miss Kyle +1

Ras 74

Rolli +1

Group 4:

Names? as in our real names?

Not yours, but the +x people. I'll just be calling you Chocolatecake at the event

We need to have a name (or something) to call them when we check if everyone is present.

I have a liitle bit specific situation: my +2 are my wife and my 4 year old son. We will decide based on type of activity in which he (and his mom) will partcipate. Last year 'fenzes did the same and i thought that it should be ok.

There is another thing: Is there a possbility for us to bring someone else with us (my wife's adult niece)? I know that some activities are limited with number of atendees, but there will be no problem to skip those.

Our names:

Bostjan Svetlicic (Me)

Barbara Svetlicic (my wife)

Nejc Svetlicic (my son)

Marina Rajic (optional)

There are only 3 activities where we have the limitation, so for all other activities there's no problem at all to bring more people to the event.

You are noted down with +2, and I leave it up to you to decide who those 2 will be out of the people that come with you. As long as it are never more that +2 for the activities that have the restrictions in number as those activities are fully booked. We're flexible :sweet:

My +1 is my mom and goes by her first name "Andrea" (doesn't have an account here though).

My +1 has an account here and goes by the name of mash.

Thanks!

Ah, I remember 2 years ago when ace didn't want to be called my +1 anymore, and signed up on EB, fun times

Is it possible to request a move to group 2? I know seven people in that group - in the other ones I hardly know anybody. And if it's not possible - I'll survive :)

Convince her to join! I heard she is a cool lady! In fact she has to be cool if she wants to come to Billund (even if it's only to supervise your driving skills... )

Word of my cool mom travels fast, apparently

Unfortunately she's neither into online stuff nor into joining any forums for that matter but she builds, and that is more important, I think. I slowly infected her again over the years, she even exhibited last year, and when I asked if she would be interested in coming along to Billund, I only heard a "yes, please". So thats it.

Driving skills don't matter, I have my license long enough, but the petrol pays itself much easier this way

Yay groups! We should choose awsome team names...

+1 for this and team challenges...

All the more reason to get to know the rest of our group better! I know about 7 people in each group except for ours!

Will there be any special events on Saturday? I'll be joined by my friend Elisabeth on Saturday (also Friday evening).

As I said: I'll survive. Looking forward to meeting the rest of you :)

Errrrrrr....The basic rules of kindergarten apply: no biting, spitting, hitting, throwing sand in someones face, stealing toys, or calling anyone a bad name.

And you are in luck as the more humane EU disciplinary policies apply: time out (on a little chair in the corner) instead of spanking /beating with a BIG wooden paddle for infractions.

You should be okay.

After 9 years of attending the events I can say, I never made any bad experiences and I think the groups are really mixed up very good. We have enough time to find a chat with those we know and get to know the new faces over the days

Yeah - I'm a group leader.

I'll soon PM everybody in group no. 3 (my favourite number by the way) about a mindblowing superawesome name for our group.

So get your brains working.

As an eventee who isn't sleeping in a challet, how should I pay for the dinner? Can this be done directly in the restaurant?

I had to do a bit of rearranging of the groups to make sure we have the right amount of cars in each group.

Please have a look at the first post for the updated groups.

Note that the groups are only for few activities, so no worries if your best friend is not in your group
