After Lord Mortis met the shadowmere messengers of Lord Vladivus at the bridge, Carg was relieved of his duty to escort Lord Mortis. Now he could go back to his brother and father, his part in escorting was done. And so he returned to the Rakath mountains to hook up with his father and brother.

Somewhere in the Rakath mountains we find Raghas and his son Rigge. But something's wrong....

Shortly thereafter, Carg arrives. As soon he sees that his father is hurt, he jumps off the horse and runs to his wounded father...

Carg: FATHER! Are you allright? What happened?

Rigge: Carg! How did you get back so soon? No matter, we got attacked by werewolves, and one got dad pretty bad!

Carg: No! I should never have left, then this would not have happened!

full.jpg

Carg: Dad? Hang in there!

Raghas: Don't feel guilty son, the beast slashed me from behind and we both did not feel it's presence. There's nothing you could have done to prevent this.

Rigge: He's fading... Dad? DAD!

Raghas: My time is due... Don't cry, both of you! We will meet in the afterlife, now it is time for me to join the court of Ra the sungod. Please take care of my earthly remains when i am gone. Seek out Lord Mortis and give him this ring. It will guarantee you both shelter and food if you decide to serve him. Goodbye my sons....

Rigge: Nooo! Dad!

Carg: Don't leave us! We need you!

The eyes of Raghas Memnon are becoming dull, and suddenly a ghostly form rises from the deceased body...

Raghas: Don't worry boys, we will see each other again. Don't cry, i will be watching over you.

The image of Raghas his ghost is fading...

Both brothers see to it that their father gets a proper burrial, and pay their last respects before they depart to shadowmere to look for Lord Mortis.

Well i hope you liked the story! Maybe a bit sad, but for mummies death is just another chapter. I wanted to write something that involved the mummies, and less Lord Mortis, so i came up with this as a twist to the overall story. C&C welcome!

This is great! I really like your mummy characters. I'm glad you are continuing to use them. You've inspired me to buy 2 of my own mummies to use in some future build

Great story and well-executed build. Just detailed enough to draw the eye, but completely complements the story.

Nice build, Jorrith!

I also think the minifigure posing is excellent, especially the kneeling and the ghostly fading. The rock-pile grave looks nice as well with the use of the cheese slopes.

Brick on, Jorrith!

Thanks everybody! I'm not sure what role Carg and Rigge will forefill in future builds, because i haven't thought about that yet... Oh well, i'm glad people are taking a liking to these chars.

Nice job on this! I love how you made the "spirit" coming out of Raghas, and the cairn of stones to show where he's buried.

Great job! I especially like the fading effect and the tree. The only thing that needs improving is colour of the path, maybe some dk grey scattered small plates (rock) to break up the colour of the path would work well.
