The frontend, just like the 42030, looks really messy. What's up with those fenders? Rest of it looks pretty badass though.

I laughed so hard to position of rearview mirrors, it looks like somebody seen car for first time.

Who knows, maybe its a feature not a bug: maybe mirrirs will set into position after turning the ignition on. :P

Abou fenders and strange design: it's called "customized truck", so aftermarket parts are supposed to be installed.

Negative caster could mean softer and longer suspension (like baja trucks)

Glorious red panels and suspension arms!

Have you noticed, that suspension arms are only in front suspension, but not in the back ...... at the back there are liftarms, but I can't see the length ...... is it possible that they are 6L ???

I've been thinking for a while if they're not the new snowmobile suspension arms. :sceptic:

They are possibly 7L to give it a wider rear track than the front or moved inwards to compensate. Good catch - we could have used the extra arms though.

I actually kinda like this set. It looks like a good parts pack, and all those red panels are nice! 3x11 and new 3x11 curved panels too! It looks like an easy set to RC.

One thing that bugs me though: There are 6 throttle bodies for a V4 engine (I think it's a V4).

I dont understand why they didnt make the rear axle solid...It would be more realistic...

Its ugly... It really screams for face lift... and its not even out yet lol!

All the red parts and red Panels - Great. Maybe with this set, it would be cheaper making your own 8258? The red panel price will drop like an anvil on Bricklink.

I believe it's a V6 - I think I see the first stud of the 3rd cylinder in one image.

If you pause the video at the 13 second mark, you can see that they do in fact look like the steering arms from the snow mobile... It looks like one arm facing downwards and another arm on under it... And you can see the DBG center hub in the rear wheel, so it most likely using the rear 42000 hub in some way... Perhaps new parts are being used as well..? Is that some type of new C-shaped liftarm between the arms..?

If you pause the video at the 31 second mark, you can get a decent view under the hood.. It looks like it has 6 cylinder blocks...

Exactly what I meant. Snowmobile suspension arms and C-shape frame.

Already the dealer catalog image was suggesting such design. I don't see other solution.

I am curious how the arms connect to the rear hub... Simple liftarms would have worked... Those hubs are pretty easy to work with... Unless they are using something different...

This is definitely a set destined to the 'Spare Parts' Bin...

LOL.. Out of all of the 2014 sets, this is the only one that my wife is excited about building and keeping for herself...

Than that's maybe the solution!

But weird it is the new part between the upper and lower beams. Their distance should reduce as the suspension moves. Are the Designers playing with the parts tolerance now!?

On another viewing, those are not the snow mobile suspension arms... There are 3L tan pins holding the rear hub on(15 second mark) The holes at the ends looked smaller because of the holes from the pins...

I don't think that there is a new part there. As far as I can tell the suspension arms are 7L beams with 44809 between them to limit suspension travel.

You're right.... That is all that it is...
