AoM Phase l barrack

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I'm back with another MOC. This time it is the Phase l barrack. I was just messing around with some treestyles, and I found a good one, atleast I think. I decided to upload it here, and then I thought, I can make a phase l barrack with it, and so I did. Here it is, enjoy!

I also used some of the tips I got with the archeries. I took the photos outside, but it is kinda stormy here in the Netherlands. Let me know what you think of the photos.

I do want to make phase ll and lll barracks now, so please give me a lot of tips I can use to make them. Thanks!

Nice work on the ground there!

For the photography it really looks like your closeups are blurrier than the wide-angle shots, so try to zoom in instead of moving the camera closer next time and see if it gets better :classic:

Will try that for phase ll barracks. Thanks! I was happy with the ground, and I am glad you like it!

Cool tree, some more leaves might make it look better, or adding some small white pieces to show snow on the branches. Also I like the use of wedge plates on the ground :classic:

Thanks! Phase ll barracks will have a very nice tree (atleast I think so), and some ruins. Pics will be up before this weekend. I am trying some types of ruins now.

The ground does look good and trees were my biggest enemy for a while. I just wasn't quite happy with what I was making until I looked around flickr for some inspiration. If you want, I could wrestle up some photos of the techniques I've used to show you. :classic:

Thanks! That would be great! Ideas on how to make different trees would be awesome!

Wonderful job! Much better! Your landscape is tons better, I love it! Nice tree! Like the others said, some more leaves would help! The pictures are way better, but clearer would help a lot! Well done overall!

I get a message that the pic is currently unavailable. I don't know what is wrong with my pc, could you do something with the photos so I can see them? Or do I have to be logged in to flickr?

Ugh. Sorry for that, I deleted the photos from my flickr without realizing it would interfere with the display on this topic. :sceptic: I'll have to get back home to where I have the pictures and repost them and that will be several hours. They should be up by mid afternoon EST. Again sorry for the problem.

I've been browsing through the old pages of GoH and came across this. It's very similar to my Barracks Phase I. I must have seen it before (maybe in the main AOM thread) and been inspired. Wanted to give you some credit for that, Alfadas.
