10205 Retail Price?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys just a quick question how much was a 10205 "limited" Black train cost at retail in 2002?

Thanks in advance for my stupid question!

P.S. I couldn't find the price of it ANYWHERE so i don't know if it was an exclusive or what...

30 euros maybe? But this is just a vague guess. I've got that train but I cannot recall its price. I think I bought it on eBay when it was still in production. So I got it MISB.

That's different.

According to BrickPicker 3 used were sold last year around the $90 mark.

The train was also bundled with carriage(s) and track and the original price for 4534 was $159.99.

and the deluxe version was $169.99

Shouldn't be too hard to BL though...

I was wondering as I was in a bidding war on ebay (sadly I lost) and I needed to know if it was a lot more expensive the the regular one.

Thanks Guys

10205 was sold for about EUR 33,- back in 2002.

I had one and sold it recently for about EUR 80,-.

Man I would of gotten a steal! The ending bid was $66 for the train, the motor, and the lighting kit, plus a bag of misc. bricks. I lost by about 5secs... oh well

Thanks Guys!

I received one from my grandmother around ten years ago, so I guess it was something like 25 euro's (otherwise she wouldn't have bought it  )

According to this old catalog I have, $29.99 USD. It was also available in blue, green, brown, and grey.

Think it would've been about £25 GBP - I have the set somewhere but can't find the box to see if the price sticker is still attached!

A bid in the last seconds happens very often. When the bidding is almost over, if you're in the lead, and you don't want this to happen, increase your max-bid to the maximum that you'd be happy to pay for it. That way, win or lose, you'll be happy either way.
