MOC: Hero Factory Breez

I think Hero Factory reached its peak in 2012 with "Breakout". We got some of the coolest and most cohesive designs for heroes and villains. It seemed like TLG went all out on the weapons, gadgets, and armor. I wanted to stick to that style when creating a Breez better suited for street-level bagging and tagging. Rocka was a big influence for her gear.

I've also been trying to get more accurate proportions with good articulation. Most of Breez's ball joints work well, but I need to fix some areas.

Thanks for looking!

Very cool revamp. Now she looks more femenine. Hope you'll make other heroes. :-)

It's realy good.

Thank you! I want to make Furno and one of the 1.0 villains in this scale, but I'm running out of parts.

Check out that sublime green booty!

LOL. I really like it. Some interesting shaping in the torso and feet and that bow is killer.

Oh, this is nice! That bow is incredible, and I love that torso construction.

However, while it's very effective, I can't help but find it a bit disturbing that she has her face on her chest and Matau's face on her rear. Just... Faces. But like I said, it's very effective and the shaping those pieces give is superb.

I also like the use of the Minifig Hero Core. Nice idea to go for a smaller version.

I'm glad you guys like it. Maybe the Mahiki works a little too well! I see what you mean about the faces, it's hard when you identify those parts as masks in the first place. I'll see what I can do about it.

I got a request from another thread for pictures of the body construction, so there are a few LDD screenshots here:

I absolutely adore the overall shaping and proportions on this, really pleasant to look at. The torso especially is really clever. The only major gripes I have are that the feet have an awkward shape, especially when couple with the really thin ankles. That and the fact that the thigh armor plates are sorta floating above the actual leg bones.

Don't get me wrong though, this is still really great!

This is an extremely effective MOC that still looks like the character! Great job!

Thanks!

Thank you! I was actually thinking of your MOCs when getting the shapes right. The legs and feet definitely need some work.
