Skylanders/Disney Infinity Discussion

Recommended Posts

I haven't seen a topic for this, so I thought I'd start one. Here is where you can discuss anything about Skylanders/Disney Infinity or any other video game that involves physical toys "coming to life".

Since Disney Infinity 2.0 just came out, what are your thoughts?

We don't need this garbage here!

:poke: Kidding. I jumped into the Skylanders games with the second installment, actually just buying a few of the figures that I thought were great looking sculpts. The rock giant Crusher, the leaf dragon Camo, the tiki mask sorcerer Double Trouble. Figured I'd just pick up the crème de la crème for spicing up a desk or a shelf or something. Buuut then the game went on a heavy discount and I picked it up and filled out the cast of characters (at not a discount :cry2: ) and that was that.

I really do think the figurines are clever and appealing character designs, so I don't see it as the complete waste that a lot of people do, being someone who collects things out of design appreciation already.

I wish I could get DI 2.0, but I'd have to buy a whole entire new gaming console. I'll stick with finishing my figure collection for the first game on Wii.

I love DI 2.0!

Was so excited about the inclusion of the Marvel Superheroes, that's why I initially purchased the first DI.

Playing with the Avengers is really great and I can't wait til the Hulk is purchasable!

Still wondering wether I should get the Ultimate Spider-Man playset..

Can anybody recommend it? (or do the opposite of that)

Regards,

Mitch
