Brick_Fan_Tan Posted May 17, 2014 Hi Just wondering if anybody could have a quick look over this clip of a walking minifigure and offer any advice, sorry its short, I knocked the set and camera out of position before I could shoot more pics. Note to self, tape down set before starting. Also I have used a 5 year old camera phone for this video, and I think it looks better than the vid I previously filmed (you can view this in my video library) Just wondering if anybody could confirm. The previous vid used a proper digital camera. Thanks for reading.
emilstorm Posted May 17, 2014 I think it looks pretty good, stop motion looks pretty smooth. I put some comments on background and lighting on your other video, and you said it yourself, keep the set and camera steady :)
Hrw-Amen Posted May 17, 2014 Looks OK to me. Whilst i agree in general about keeping camera and background still, sometimes it adds a little to that 'shot on the hoof' look if there are one or two wobbles, a bit like a live war correspondence, but I guess it depends on the image you are going for.
