Sebeus I Posted March 31, 2015 There was this redcoat that walked into a bar...a bluecoat bar... silly redcoats! ehem... Anyway, this bad joke isn't the real reason why I'm posting this. A while ago things weren't so good at the pirate forum, there was a huge decrease in activity. Captain Braunsfeld was very concerned about that so he sent me several PMs discussing the issue. Now I'm not really the best guy to get things going or organize things and stuff. The best I could come up with was a comic...about the decreased inactivity... Which wouldn'd have helped anyway as there wasn't anyone around to read it. Now the activity here at the pirateforum is flowering, I like this, That comic I made isn't relevant anymore but I still wanted to post it so I came up with this bad joke, This post is the execution of my masterplan . So here's the comic (beware, it will not be continued). Captain Braunsfeld was concerned about the decreasing activity at the pirateforum so he went to see his friend Sebeus... Never, it won't be continued because even I was too inactive at the time to finish this comic . I also want to use this occasion to keep the red VS blue climate alive. Have you noticed how almost fatefully 'blue' rhymes with 'true'... so, 'The only True Side is the Blue Side' - should put that slogan up for registration somewhere... Yes! Kolonialbeamter Posted March 31, 2015 Silly redcoats, indeed! Shame, that comic was so promising... But probably won't be necessary any longer, so there's a 'Hurray!' to that. Yes! Done!
dr_spock Posted March 31, 2015 Redcoats will get their revenge. Nice work on the comic.
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 1, 2015 Very fine What is that yellow lantern on the very right of the MOC? As to the comic: The tent has a nice TARDIS feeling to it - bigger on the inside!
Balbo Posted April 1, 2015 Very nice work - I like the comic and the builds

Matthias Posted April 1, 2015 The only thing I do not like at your Moc is that the Redcoat has no saber between his rips. . Your Comic is very cool. Sadly it will never be completed, but maybe we see a little wonder. That would be nice.
Capn Frank Posted April 1, 2015 happy I love DisneyTMTM! This is a pointless reply, and repeating it three times all over EB makes it worse. Try actually adding respectful comments and critiques to MOCs instead of spam.
Sebeus I Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) Very fine What is that yellow lantern on the very right of the MOC? An old fabuland piece. I got it from this adventurers set though. It may look Ideal to use for the lanterns on a ship's stern... Alas, the handle being the only way to attach it to anything makes it pretty much useless for that purpose . So I often use it in port towns etc. Btw, a 2x2 cone piece fits in it perfectly (orange bit). Edited April 1, 2015 by Sebeus I
Mencot Posted April 1, 2015 Awesome moc and great start to a comic, love it. Yes! So true, blue is the only way to go. Another thing that rhymes is, the only good Red is Dead... I have heard that somewhere

Let the blue flow through you! Gooooood! An old fabuland piece. It may look Ideal to use for the lanterns on a ship's stern... Alas, the handle being the only way to attach it to anything makes it pretty much useless for that purpose . Hmm... is there no way to somehow 'hide' that handle under deck to have it stick out at the stern for just the right length? 'Cause that's a real awesome part to serve as a lantern! Plaid Beard Posted April 1, 2015 Posts like this make me love this forum more and more each day. If I don't finish my latest ship soon, my first post may have to be a comic I did last year.

Captain Dee Posted April 6, 2015 It's good to have you back, Sebeus. For a while there I was afraid you'd been cursed to serve on your own Flying Dutchman... Anyway, I'm going off topic. I enjoy your comics (Maiden Voyage, anyone?) and your ships are just superb (especially the Beatrix, which is almost perfect and would make a far better model than the similar-piece-count 10210 IFS, which I own - and yes, I share some of your same dislikes for the official set. Here I go, off topic again.) Your bar works well in the comic - nothing fancy, but enough to be convincing - and I think I recognize some parts of the comic (the tents, specifically) from one of your large displays, which is a good thing. Your input has been tremendous, and when you were still highly active on the forum I often sought out your opinion. Again, it's good to have you back! Keep on building!
