Review-75075 Microfighters AT-AT

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, there was an AT-AT pilot with a tiny AT-AT. Now, let's find out if he will get accepted into the Empire.

First Impressions: 8/10

The box is small, very small. The AT-AT looked kind of cute, and my only disappointment was that the micro in Microfighters was further emphasised by the fact that there was only 88 pieces!

Minifigures: 6/10

The AT-AT pilot is the sole minifigure, but its torso design is very nice and detailed. Shame he didn't come with Veers or Snowtroopers, but well, it's a microfighters set after all. The AT-AT pilot came with a short blaster.

The Build: 6/10

It's a relatively fast build and only took me ten minutes to complete. Along the way, the AT-AT starts to take its famous shape.

End Product: 7/10

The AT-AT is small but very posable. I think it may or may not look good on your shelf, but it worked fine for me.

Overall: 7/10

A great set for a Microfighters set.

No thats cool welcome to Eurobricks! I remember I used to have a lot of trouble with posting pictures and links at first. The easiest way to do it for futures reference is to create a Flickr ane upload the pictures there. Then under the share button for the individual picture you can get a BBcode that you can change the size of copy the text and paste it here in the forum.

As for the review the writing part was great! : )

Yeah, the lack of pictures kinda makes this review a dud. If it was a technology hiccup that'd be fine- but you just lost them.

Trying to avoid some cruel statement, I'll say that this review is really pointless for the reader. If I exclude the statements that contain just general things (how the model gets its shape along the building process) or very obvious facts (box is small), plus all the 'fillament' phrases (which are otherwise very nice, certainly appreciable if the text was longer), very few of the actual information is left. I know that there is probably not very much to say about such small set but once you decided to review it... And of course, the lack of any picture contributes really badly to the overall impression. Actually I think that no matter how good the text is, without the pictures there is no acceptable review.

However, such attempt may have point for you as you may grasp the feedback and make your next review better. My strongest advice then is to make sure that besides being well written, your output actually provides some informational value to the reader. Of course there are types of reviews that are mainly to entertain or bring fun, yet I don't think that was your goal.

I suppose you can still somewhat redeem it by just taking new pictures and editing them in? It might be too late for the building process or the box, but you write about the driver and the AT-AT's posability. Let's see some of that at the very least! :)
