First model, first post.  Inspired by this post to make something for BlueBrick.  I hope to add more train related models soon.

Good model, but it would better to make whole sets. That's easier and better (also for indexing). But anyway it's a good start    But I index it of course

One large element missing from the crane as I couldn't find it amongst the parts in my MLCad library (a 6x6 cockpit piece), no string or hook and the SNOT winding element not very accurately positioned.

Hi! That is absolutely fantastic! Thanks so much for supporting both the use of MLCad and the development of the BlueBrick GIFs. :) I have been working on BlueBrick GIFs myself today and will also upload my LDR files here at some point. Thanks again!

Hi Stu83,

I was going to make the BlueBrick GIF for your model today but noticed there were a few things missing (realized later you had mentioned that in your post as well). This I think is also relevant to "legolijntje"'s point about complete sets. There were a couple of BlueBrick guidelines we agreed on a while back, but you wouldn't know that unless you had managed to read through almost 2 years worth of posts.

1. Minifigs: For Bluebrick GIFs we always try to include the minifigs (as close as possible to those in the set), to complete the set and also create some "action" in the scene.
2. Vehicles: we also always try to include the vehicles (for completenes and sometimes action)

I have already added the minifigs, the updated LDR is here. You can take it, add the car (top right corner would be best), and replace it with the current LDR you have on your Brickshelf account.

Thanks so much for this, and any other contributions you will make to support both the LDraw and BlueBrick formats. Please complete the other sets you have started too  
Let's continue any other BlueBrick discussions in the BlueBrick thread.

I will be adding my LDRs here as soon as I can.

Indeed I was not aware of the guidelines.

However, my warmup this morning, mindful of the previous request for complete models, was to draw the taxi, and so it is now included.

The trains and other elements of 7938 and 7939 are on my to-do list but I figured the infrastructure elements had priority as being the most important to planning a layout.

I think I found the problem, I made a noob error with the multipart format.  Does the station and the Maersk Train below work now?

Hi Stu83, the MPD is now complete thanks! That is a great looking train too! What you can also do, is ask LDD creators if you may convert and complete their models as well. I have done this in the past and managed to save a lot of time that way (at least for new sets...but not so much for the old). I will make a GIF of your station this weekend.

In the mean time here is another model I made a long time ago.

Tread link spacing not exact to allow for complete run with no visible gaps
2x 32556.Dat - Technic Pin Long subsituted for 6558.Dat - Technic Pin Long with Friction in Step 73.7.4 on Pg 7 of Instruction Book 3/3 (otherwise dozer blade doesn't animate).
Rear plough does not animate. Two models include - one with plough raised and one with lowered.

Hello typo,

we can't download your model because you folder isn't public yet. You should "deeplink" it. Go to your Brickshelf folder, to your file, but NOT open it, click whit yout right mouse button on the file and click "copy shortcut" (or something like that, my computer isn't English). The link you copied is a link  directly to the file.

Also you have to add a picture of your file to your post, if you don't know how, I recommend LDview.

8285 - Tow Truck (A model) - Technic

This is not my model, but "Kuperus" made it and posted it on the sr3d builder forum. He asked me to post it here.

ERRORS:
"1. I hate the front fenders, but I couldn`t get them to round properly.
2. Strange behaviour when turning various knobs to change elevation of pads in the rear, lift or drop the boom and extending and retracting the boom.
3. Pneumatic cylinder not 100% correctly placed (since pneumatic cylinders fall apart once placed).
4. Pneumatic hoses not positioned nicely (especially the blue).
5. No stickers."
