Non-L Scale LEGO Trains

Recommended Posts

Hello, since I see there is alot of lego/model train discussion, I thought I would ask another question.

Just as model trains have different scales (HO,00,N,G,Z,T,O), I wonder if there were different scale lego trains. Not like narrow gauge minifig scale, but a scale where it still runs on track but looks like a toy compared to a minifig. Since Im not the clearest explainer, I'll give one example I found:

That's a great looking mini loco. Might have to use some of those ideas

My loco still needs some detailing but I'm happy with how the coaches have turned out so far. I might try rounding off the roof with cheese slopes when I can get the parts.

You could call the Lego narrow gauge track L(s) gauge, so this would be L(s) scale.

A long time ago John Neal and his son did some brilliant 2-wide trains. Unfortunately their Brickshelf folder seems to have disappeared...
