The problem with this for New Members is they have a link from the dropdown menu to see their own Profile however due to the global specific setting the administrators have here enabled... the user cannot see their own Profile. While i understand the reasoning for restricting New Members, taking away that link for their group ID would then probably be the best thing you can do, same goes for all the other functions/features New Members are unable to use but have links to...

Also, as I stated in another topic, I know you have multiple skins for this and the ideal setup would be to have a Hook that would apply this change for all your skins VS manually editing every skin.

Finally I do and that was what I was assuming due to other members who have been upgraded to VASSAL. :)
