Recommended Posts

Entry for Book II Challenge II Category B for deGothias side.

The plague devastates Avalonia.

Even the avalonian island Moria wasn't spared by the wave of illness. So Sir Moriartus called Mitgarda for medics, because of the good relations between him and some of the lords there.

Aaron lost his wife and children in the last cruel war in Mitgardia and decided to study the old scriptures of medic. He wants to save other people from the dolor he got and save as much lives as possible.

But the habitation of other people always reminds him of his dead family, so he lives solitary from the village on a small rock in the sea. In his small home he has everything he needs.

Every day he paddle to the coast to heal people from the plague. The fight seems absurd, but Aaron tries his best to save the inhabitants of Moria.

The free time Aaron has in his home, he spends on reading and rearing of swans.

Lots of great piece use here! Love that swan. Can't quite see what it's made out of though, what pieces did you use for it's body?

Nice, very innovative moc. I like the way you did the tudor-style building with the slopes, and nice job with the tower too

That is great. Fully of tiny little authentic "slice of life" details that I really like to see in MOCs. The fishline and supply-laden boat are my favorite parts. I am in awe of how you pulled that swan off too. Can you show us more?

There's a reason why Sir Moriartus turned to you, thank you for your aid in these harsh times..!

Great build as usual and loaded with excellent techniques. Great combination of colours, the inverted rock work is nice and the tower works very well.

As mccoyed pointed out the realism and the details totally make it. The swan is top-notch as I already told you.

Looking forward to more GoH builds from you!

Outstanding build legopard. The tower is extremely well done with lovely techniques and parts use, the house is beautifully integrated into the rock. The overall scene is wonderfully atmospheric. And the Swan is great!

Very cute. I like the flower vine, a good idea. How is the green roof build? Are the tiles just put there without clutched?

How is the green roof build?

I'm guessing 1x4 panels turned sideways that are just resting on top of each other without clutch.

Very nice creation, great to see an entry for Challenge II from you.

What I really like about your MOCs, and this one is no exception, it that they are always full of details.

Your part usage always surprises me and the outcome of your work is just magnificent. I think I have never seen such a beautiful brick built swan in minifig scale.

Keep up the great work!

Nice build! The swan looks very good. I also like the colour (medium dark flesh?) that you choose for the tower, it looks way better than just a normal grey one.

Beautiful moc Legopard, very serene and contemplative. :classic: I love the unusual parts usages for the top of the tower, the chair and the swan. The house itself is great too with the green panel roof, half-timbering and corner details. If i have one small criticism, it would be that in places the underneath rockwork doesn't achieve the same level of complexity as the architecture on top of it. But overall, this is just a treat for the eyes!
