Boba1980 Posted August 22, 2016 I want to present you my latest MOC. It is my entry for round 3 of the “MOC Olympics” contest (German LUG: imperiumdersteine.de). In this round we have to build a ship or scene of the upcoming STAR WARS Movie “Rouge One”. A base of 48 x 48 was the limit. As you can see I decided to build a “beach” scene on Scarif. Because of the limited space and time I build it in Microfighter-Scale. Therefore I designed two completely new Microfighter, the Tie-Striker and the U-Wing. The AT-ACTs are modifications of the original AT-AT Microfighters. I hope you like it. Bye for now Boba Rebel Attack on Scarif by Boba-1980, auf Flickr And some details: More Infos: www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/topic/45913-idsmo-r3-... RetroInferno Posted August 22, 2016 I really like this! Particulary the micro U-Wing, this mini build is brilliant :)
Richpepperell Posted August 22, 2016 (edited) I love this. Little Easter eggs like the AT-ACT getting hit in the face really capture the mood. Also love the build on the bunker - would fit in to loads of different situations. Ps. This has inspired me to get straight onto bricklink and fill my basket with palm tree pieces and leaves! Miro78 Posted August 23, 2016 Looks wonderful. Nicely done. I have a soft spot for those microfighter AT-ATs and the AT-ACTs make for a an easy MOD. The U-Wing is great too and better looking than the official set from what I saw of the leaked image. Nice scenery to pull it all together. Miro
dimnico Posted August 23, 2016 This is by far the best Rouge One MOC I have seen so far. You have really captured the feel of the trailer and I love the way you have designed the palm trees and micro fighters.
Boba1980 Posted August 24, 2016 Thanks to all of you for the nice comments. @ RetroInferno: I will add some detailed Photos of the U-Wing to my flickr account. @ Richpepperell: Funny thing about the AT-ACT hit. On the day I took the pictures for the contest, the second trailer was released, were the scene the first time appears. So I had to integrate it at the last second ;-) @ Miro78: You are completely right, the official U-Wing is XXX. Here you find the best U-Wing in minifig-scale, build by a member of my German LUG: http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/index.php?/topic/45910-idsmo-r3-ut-60d-u-wing/ Bye for now Boba

Seriously, go see that movie as soon as you can! And seriously, this MOC is awesome. Those Microfighters are way better than the official ones. I always like it when people incorporate smaller vehicles into builds. Not every great MOC has to be UCS-sized (although some are, of course).
