You can also see a similar building in this set Both of them are promotional for food companies! :-$ So i tried making this set my self with parts that i have to see how it would look.. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2032125 Gave a harry potter felling to it! :-) Tell me what you think! (God i miss those days when we could find civilian buildings and not just "stations" of every kind )
UltraPrime Posted September 20, 2006 Very nice. I'm going to get round to adding some 'normal' buildings to my town eventually.....
BillytheKid Posted September 21, 2006 These sets are made of simple/standard bricks. So a handy person can make these sets. Made one day I will do also. In this way I made set 7755 and 7760 by myself. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1705212 I can't find a pic of my 7760 :-/
Hobbes Posted September 21, 2006 Tell me what you think! Those two sets really are true classics and quite easy to rebuild. Your color choice needs some getting used to (I don't have a Harry Potter set) but it's recognizable :-) These sets are made of simple/standard bricks. So a handy person can make these sets. Made one day I will do also. In this way I made set 7755 and 7760 by myself. 7760 is my favorite small locomotive and is easy to rebuild. If only it weren't for the blue windows which are hard to get and expensive. I've built one with the 4512 color scheme: 7760 It needs a few more small modifications before I'm satisfied, though :-) At first glance there's no difference between your 7755 and the original. That's why I like the 1980s train sets (including buildngs). You bought one and could rebuild it with your own bricks...
