I'd be surprised if there wasn't a female figure that hasn't been revealed. Alien conquest had one, Pharoahs quest, Atlantis. A lot of monsters to battle, need a multi tasker to keep the heads level

That would be disappointing, though I'm sure they just haven't shown all the figures yet.
We're still waiting for images of the ghosts, zombies and the swamp monster!

I can't say I love the robotic limbs on the humans, but at the same time it's cool to see them on the 'good guys.'  As people have said, everybody seems kind of bad in this theme, which I find awesome.  You can always decide which side to root for in any theme, but the fact that both sides look semi-evil blurs that barrier even more.

I'm happy to see that the monsters have been redesigned.  They do still look similar to the collectible ones, but it's good that they aren't straight copies.

This theme remains one about which I am most excited.  I've seen so many comments here, on brickset, basically everywhere that this theme probably won't do well and that people will buy it as an afterthought, but it's not that way to me at all.  These sets are much more interesting to me than LotR, Star Wars, and Superheroes.

Okay, I almost like these figures. Why are they cyborgs though. Very nonsensical stuff like that is alright for things like Ninjago in my book, but I don't like the idea of 30s cyborgs...good thing I was only planning on updating Johnny Thunder & Co.

If the sets are priced well and the characters all as well designed and diverse I can see this line performimg well. I'm sure it will do well with kids, it has many influences of classic childrens literature and some contemporary referencing that are well recognised across the board.
And...even at this early stage, if it doesn't perform as well at retail I could see there being a healthy after market when they get discontinued. They may get lost in the rush of licences but it is breaking new ground for Lego and there are many who will appreciate its very unique style.

I agree with you actually. I don't care for Marvel or LotR too much, and I'm tired of Star Wars, but I think that this theme is really interesting. I'm not fond of the robotic limbs, but they do add character, I guess, and they are useful and shouldn't be too hard to replace with normal ones.

I really don't like the werewuluf. The Dracula torso is nice and Frankenstein's monster looks suitably messed up.
The human characters are great. Love those. Hopefully February will bring us official pics of the sets.

Nice views on that official minifigs! The hunters and that new werewolf are the cream of the crop, hands down!

But please, for the love of Mary Shelley's ghost, stop calling that monster "Frankenstein"! If anything at all, its proper nomenclature would be "Dr. Frankenstein's creature" or if you prefer "monster" but not "Frankenstein"! That was its creator's name and didn't ever pass onto the creature, EVER! And do not try do defend your misnomers with "pop-culture", as it will always remain plain wrong. Do that fantastic work of gothic-literature a solid and employ the proper names, please! You have it in your hands to shape your own perception of things; do not find excuses in the past errors of others, or simply put: Just because the names are terrible messed up in the general populace's mind, noone stops you to remedy the damage done!

I'm only a little annoyed they showed the figures in groups of 3, but they couldn't've picked better figures to display. The werewolf (I like the bulky sort of look) vampire (A lot like the CMF2 one) and the Frankenstein (olive green. That is all I have to say.  ) are easily gonna be the poster figs of this theme.

Well, those figures are a breath of fresh air into this theme since those pictures weeks ago from Youtube.
The human fighters look fantastic, I would like to know the backstory to them ?
Plus the werewolf is the bomb, and yeah....they do look similar to the collectable minifigs eh ?
Perhaps they try ideas for figures out there first before launching a new theme ?

I sorta hate the robot limbs... I think? Actually, no, I don't. I sorta hate them in this theme specifically.

But then I always found Steampunk to be a very goofy quasi-genre anyways, and I prefer to not think of these guys as Steampunk. And with a few swaps here and there, they won't be.

I mean, this is LEGO afterall. Swapping stuff is the point. The robot arms and legs will find a home on a more appropriate figure elsewhere in the collection, where these guys will all be non-cyborg Adventuring gentlemen like I want them to be.

The monsters are still the bomb, though. Nice angry vampire to go with the happy S2 version. I just need more dudes to populate my Graveyard.

It seems like people are divided into two groups: the group excited about the new licenses and the group excited about this theme (and Ninjago).

I hope some other figs have a left-robot-arm and a left-robot-leg to make the parts more useful. I doubt that I will keep any of these hunter figs together but will "fix" them like others have mentioned. I do like the new hips print with just a belt, it will be useful in MOCs to have a plain belt print.

Not really sure about the monsters so far, maybe like the werewolf ... still deciding. I don't like Frankenstein's Monster but the head itself will be useful for zombies and other things. Don't care about having yet another Dracula character...meh.

I'm like you. I've gotten most of the sets I want from the January waves save a few I want to be reduced first. Between now and April(Marvel) all I'll be picking up is some of the sets that are going to be discontinued. However I'm not sure if I'll be able to wait out for heavy  discounts on this theme?

I believe the arm is symmetrical, so it works just as well for either side.  The leg would clearly need a complimentary one, though.
