Pirate fans, check out this sailing ship by Flickr member Legonardo Davidy!

I like the colors and custom made sails (click the link to see other photos with the sails) and rigging.  Check out Legonardo Dividy's photostream here.

Great ship! Especially considering that it's his first.

I like the rigging the most, she looks beautiful under full sail (although I think their widths are a little small).
I would've preferred dark blue as in the title pic, but bright looks pretty good as well. It's refreshing after seeing a lot of the classic red/yellow stripes.

Thanks for posting!

That's a very good looking ship.

I like the multiple sail pieces, it's more than usual, but it doesn't yet look like too many.  Hopefully he joins.

Good find. Things like the placement of the yards and the gunline could be improved, but overall it's a nice ship.
The colourscheme and the rigging make it look quite realistic.
I'm not sure about it but I wouldn't be surprised if it even had a working steering wheel.

With the ropes attached to the rudder, it is quite possible.  I also noticed the anchors appear to be custom made and there looks like there is a little windlass that pulls them up.

Thanks, for finding this creation and sharing it, Z!

I think the editing of that picture is exceptionally well done! One of the best I've seen so far!
The ship itself seems far less amazing, but it's very decent and you can clearly see it's a frigate.
Athena is a great name by the way!
