Attaching normal axles to the Red Beast RC

Recommended Posts

I was diging through some of my old stuff in our attic and I found the red beast , after putting new batteries in it. After some thought, I was wondering if anyone had ever converted the existing axles on it to standard axles (without modifing parts). I would like to use the drive motors for a tank chassis and the steering could be used for braking a track.

Amazing those years where TLG was still trying to 'find/identify' itself ... Cars from that era do not look like lego at all.

You could sand the teeth off. Or 1. http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=32498 Or 2. http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=98585

Thats all I got.

I fixed the problem, I just lowered the beam, it improved the performance a lot.

Update

it now has suspension, the gear issue was resolved, i added beams on the tracks.
