He's my entry for stage 2 of the warlord community build. I'd also like to claim DoH credits for:

  • Landscape Design - Trees 1
  • Advanced SNOT (if you feel this isn't large enough is it possible for a sideways rock credit instead?)
  • General building - minifig posing
  • Military Science - Battlescene

apologies I forgot to take a photo without minifigs- will try to add one tomorrow.

Gorrick hired out his talents to the Red Dragon knights, offering to help guide he through the Nocturnus Wilderness to seek barbarians to recruit to their elite siege troops. They hired a couple of clansmen made camp in a nice sheltered spot and Gorrick offered to hunt some food before settling down for the night before the morning march home.

Unlucky for the Dragon Knights, Gorrick didn't return with food, instead Warlord BoneBane and a raiding party... for they had hired him fist to find new souls. Even worse the sheltered spot allowed the raiders to sneak right up to the camp before being spotted.

The battle looks like it's not going to go in favour of the Dragon nights.. but what will BonBane do with fresh bones?

Good job with the rockwork especially! Your photography seems a bit blurry though, I'd suggest taking pictures somewhere with a bit more light (preferably outdoors in the shade), that will get rid of the slightly crusty look!

Thanks for the photo tip, they're not usually this bad, but it was very heavy wind and rain today - no chance of going out and from the weather it's not going to improve for a while here. Will bear in mind. Did try putting all the lights on I could and doing it by a window (not that it helped much).

Nice little build. One other thing you should consider before you take photos is to fill up behind the gaps behind the layers of rocks, it looks kinda weird this way.

UoP +1 for all claims apart from the advanced SNOT, I'd give you the credit for the sideways rocks instead.

Didn't notice the credits before (were they there?), +1 on all four, except with sideways rock instead of advanced SNOT.

+1 UoP DoH for all claims (though swapping sideways rocks for advanced snot). Nice moc, the tree is quite good as are the snot rocks

UoP DoH +1 for four claims, swapping advance snot for sideways rocks also. I really like the minifig posing, and great expressions on a few of them. Plus I like the guy defending his turkey leg! BTW, as a note to others, this is about the minimum size I'd consider for the battle scene credit.

You sure have some great details and the posings of the minifigs are just perfect!

You already got some tips regarding light in the pics and fill up the gaps in the rocks =)

Very action-packed build! My favourite is definitely the surprised guy holding the sausage about to lose his helmet :laugh:

Good landscape, the dark tan plates work nicely with your sideways rockwork

You captured the chaos of a fight well :classic:
