Ronan Dragonov Posted February 27, 2010 The D.4 design first flew though the skies... Then ventured into space... The sea finally awaited... As for any changes in dimensions or departure from the base design, the rigors of the sea and its pressures place special demands on a vehicle.
CommanderFox Posted February 27, 2010 Very nice dragons Ronan Dragonov. I like the undersea one alot, the Yellow Black colour scheme, is nice, and the aerodynamics is good. It looks sleek and fast. Great job! CommanderFox
Aanchir Posted February 27, 2010 For some reason, that incredibly dated sunglasses fig face looks absolutely epic with the AquaRaiders body. Regarding the MOC itself, it's pretty epic. I'd personally prefer if the propellors on the back of the "pontoons" were silver like the ones on the tail-- I like propellors to match. It'd also be nice if there were some patterned or stickered parts on the side panels, since from side view it's not nearly as awesome as your other variations. However, seeing as there aren't any large paneling pieces on the sides, that would probably be impossible. Love the nose, which feels very appropriate for a submarine. The wings (fins?) are also nice.
Loganwan Posted February 27, 2010 Looks great. The designs of each have a very familiar look to really keep in line for your designs. Great build. I like that your Undersea Dragon is yellow, and really goes well with the Aquaraiders line. Now you need to do one in red with the green glass to match the Atlantis line. It would have to be skinny too. :D Deapsea Dragon? Then a bulky lime green craft with lots of greebles to make a Power Miner support craft, maybe a Power Dragon? :)
WesternOutlaw Posted February 27, 2010 Very nice RD. I'm a big fan of yellow submarines, and I think you've done a great job on the design of this D.4U. I like the overall shape of the middle section (sort of shark/fish like), and the use of the round 2x2s on the side with small propellors work well. The additional fins and wings give the sub a look of added undersea maneuverability. An additional hatch or opening for storing undersea gear in the back would add to the already nice quality of this creation. I hope you don't mind, but I've added a photo-edited background for the EB front-page. Great job!
Big Cam Posted February 27, 2010 Very cool, I like seeing the different models/versions. The yellow color seems like such a natural cold choice.
Ronan Dragonov Posted February 27, 2010 Thanks for the feedback everyone. Aanchir, I tend to agree with your point on the of the side view. Brickster, I love the background edit. I'm thinking about a Black Ops version which see the yellow replaced with gray (probably dark) and would be armed.

Legostein Posted February 27, 2010 Hello! There are not many submarine creations these days, the more I enjoy looking at yours. I particularly like the use of the black 5 x 2 x 1 2/3 windscreen pieces used as a support for the fins. Cheers, ~ Christopher
Fires-storm Posted March 5, 2010 A stunning group of mocs, Dragonov! I love the techniques you used, transitioning the pontoons between all three was truly brilliant as well! keep up the good work
