Jasbrick Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) Hi, Previously my main focus has been on creating a consistent Post-Apoc themed group of customs, as a bit of a break from that I have been playing around with WWII. Here is the result: WWII Japanese Pilot: WWII German Major: WWII British Tank Regiment: Jasbrick Edited March 11, 2009 by Jasbrick

Jasbrick Posted March 11, 2009 Very nice figs here jasbrick, that japanese soldier looks very good , but what is that on his head? Thanks Exxtrooper, the thing on his head is a folded Rising Sun flag headscarf that was worn during WWII most notably by the Kamikaze pilots. Jasbrick Posted March 11, 2009 Very nice, how did you made it? I used Games Workshop Green Stuff to form the head scarf around a normal hair piece. Then it was painted with the rising sun design. Spyder Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) The best one is the Japanese Pilot. They all look great, and I can't find anything wrong with them. Edited March 11, 2009 by Spyder

Bonaparte Posted March 12, 2009 WWII British Tank Regiment: This hat is just awesome . I bet you could sell a lot of these if you wanted!
jifel Posted March 12, 2009 Forgive if I am wrong, but the tank regiment guy's hat looks like a megablok. Still, very nice figs and use of GW green stuff! And that Rising sun painting is just , looks like you have lot's of practice from GW. jifel
Jasbrick Posted March 12, 2009 This hat is just awesome . I bet you could sell a lot of these if you wanted! Hi Bonaparte I am glad you like it... I have also created quite a few more designs that can be seen on my Flickr stream, including: Parachute Regiment Beret; American Airborne Cap; Military Contractor Skull and Crossbones cap; Green Beret; Various others. I do these just for my own custom figs as each one is handpainted... but occassionally I do get carried away and create spares. Thanks Jasbrick

AwesomeStar Posted March 17, 2009 Whos hats are from a lego clone set. Actually, jifel only said they MIGHT be from (scuse the swear) Megablocks. It isn't fair at all to post things that may not be true, and in a slightly snide manner. Just my tuppeny piece. -A.S.

Just my tuppeny piece. -A.S. Thanks... the beret is from Sluban, which I have subsequently painted a different colour and logo. I am not quite sure what Exxtrooper means... maybe his real meaning was lost in translation. Jasbrick
