green dewback Posted April 9, 2009 (edited) Reminds me of the glued raincoat boat that escaped from Alcatraz. The boat is not fully built with plastic bricks, it looks like foam board for the bottom. Funny seeing it crumble apart and taking in water. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=1cf_1238295018 Video is 9minutes long. SHdude Posted April 9, 2009 on a website it said "The boat was probably made of another brand"
green dewback Posted April 9, 2009 Real Lego is too precious to waste floating down a canal.
Eilif Posted April 9, 2009 Wow. I thought the boat was rediculous enough, but when fan-man made his entrance, It really got wierd.
KinGanon Posted April 12, 2009 Only imitation LEGO can float like that Wow this outperforms my attempts at floating LEGO boats(although mine never went down a canal)
MetroiD Posted April 12, 2009 Sorry to ruin this one for you guys, but a) this boat's definitely not made only of plastic, and b) that stuff's not LEGO. Just have a look at the bricks when the camera switches to "on-board" view and you'll see that the top of the studs is actually perfectly flat and doesn't have any LEGO printing on it. I must admit, I was hoping they'd drown sooner. Fan-man was an absolute cheat. Pity for the canal tho - letting a bunch of plastic bricks of doubtful origins float around is not really a great idea. KinGanon Posted April 13, 2009 Yeah don't want to pollute that canal with lead-filled LEGO imitations

MarcusV3 Posted April 14, 2009 Cool, although I don't know why but I expected a Lego Cruise ship Now THAT would be impressive
Captain Green Hair Posted April 15, 2009 It floats way better then i had expected. It's all bricks, even the bottom is some sort of large plate. If they added some glue they propably would come back dry. Thanks for sharing!
