brickquick Posted April 6, 2011 sorry its in German, wer in der Nähe von Münster wohnt kann gerne am Sonntag, 17.04.11 vorbeischauen Infos auch hier: http://www.steine-in-muenster.de weltweit größter privater ZOO aus LEGO Steinen erbaut von hörbehinderten und hörenden Kindern mit PariSozial Münsterland und der Lego-Initiative Münster Hallo, der Termin rückt näher, im Anhang die Details zu der Veranstaltung die Anmeldung ist abgeschlossen es können leider keine weiteren Kinder mehr mitmachen die Presse ist gerne am Sonntag 17.04.11 ab 15.30 zu einer Besichtigung des Projektes eingeladen für interessierte Besucher ist die Veranstaltung am So. 17.04.11 ab 15.30 Uhr zugänglich Das Projekt: Insgesamt sind es etwas mehr als 2 Dutzend Kinder, davon die Hälfte mit Hörbehinderung. In kleinen gemischten Gruppen werden die Kinder jeweils die einzelnen Gehege aufbauen. Hörende und hörbehinderte Kinder werden miteinander kommunizieren ,Gedanken austauschen und die Planung gemeinsam umsetzen. Als Anregung dient ein vorheriger (kostenloser) Zoobesuch inkl. einer Zooführung. Vor dem Bauevent wird es für die hörenden Kinder einen ganz kleinen fachbezogenen Schnupper-Gebärdenkurs geben (z.B. die Begriffe für die Tierarten). Am Samstag wird der eigentliche ZOO aufgebaut. Am Sonntag legen wir noch einmal eine Schüppe drauf. Schneller als ein Adler werden wir für unseren ZOO ein riesiges neues Elefantengehege planen und anschliessend bauen. Die Gesamtlänge des Projektes wird bei 8-10m liegen. Nach meinem Wissen das größte private ZOO-Projekt aus LEGOsteinen weltweit. Die Art des angebotenen Projektes dürfte einmalig sein. More information: http://www.steine-in-muenster.de It is the largest private Zoo from LEGO bricks that was made by both deaf and hearing children in cooperation with PariSozial Münsterland and the Lego-Initiative Münster. Hallo, the deadline is coming near and more details are attached. Unfortunately subscription to the event is closed so that there are no possibilities for more children to enter the event. For the Press thate is an opportunity to have a look at the project from 15.30 at Sunday 17th of april 2011. For visitors that are interested, the exhibition is open at 15.30 at Sunday 17th of april 2011. The project There were a total of more than 2000 children involved in this project. Half of them had hearing disabilities. In small mixed groups, children built the separate models. Hearing and deaf children needed to communicate with each other, share ideas and make a plan to get the job done. To get some inspiration, they first had the chance to get to the zoo for free and had a tour there. They also had a crash course in sign language for e.g. concepts like kinds of animals. On saturday they will be building the zoo itself. The last details will be finished on sunday. Faster than an eagle they will make a stable for Elephants (first plan, then build). The total project will cover up to 8 by 10 meters. I think that this will be the largest private LEGO bricks built zoo project in the world. The kind of this project needed to be one time only. For the little achitects there will be also a small lottery.
