Ras 74 Posted March 16, 2009 The competitions this year will follow a new pattern. For everyone that knows about Moto GP this is probably familiar with how their races and how they devide the points from the winner and down. I will explain it to all you out there that don´t know, and that more likes the kind of motorcykels looking like steampunks from America We will have several competitions during thursday to sunday (not certain yet which days this will be). We don´t have an idea yet how many competitions there will be. But probably arround 7-8. Here is how the points will be devided: The winner of every game will get 25 points. Second will get 20, third will get 16, forth will get 13. Then it is 5=11, 6=10, and then falling one point per place you make down to place 15 that will get 1 point. After all competitions are done, you sume up all the points you got, and we will have a winner. In this way, you will not need to make every competition. Like Morten that will not be there the full time. If he makes good at the games he participate, he will still get a good chanse to end high in the grand total. Maybe even win the whole thing. He just loves competitions, and winning them Those competitions will be decided by the Event group, meaning Holodoc, CopMike and me. If there is someone that want´s to make some special competition, it will fall out of the "GP" The winner then will get the opportunity to choose his prize first, of the pot of prizes that we can come up with, and then in falling order. We will try to see what opportunites we will get to be able to keep this updated during the GP, so hopefully our friends can follow this on Eurobricks! Ras 74 Posted March 18, 2009 I will need everybodys "callnames" on the board, spelled correctley, and real names. The first one will do. Please PM me about this. It is for the nametags. Then we (the Event group) has decided that the nametags will be all darkblue, (try to find 1x8 in brand new DB and 60 pieces anywhere ) with yellow text. It will cost us 8 € a piece. Do you want this to be included in the Event package, or to fall out of that one? I personally think it will fall out of the extras. There will be 2 options on extras. Option 1:A special designed set that only will be available for you who comes to the event. Option 2:Same as above, but with some extra that will be about the same as last year. New pieces of course. Option 1 will cost 30 €, and option 2 will be 50 €. Let me know what you prefere ASAP. This you can write to me in the same PM as you send me your "callname" and real life first name. Ras 74 Posted April 7, 2009 There is now a dead-line for the Event badges! No changes will be done, or no more badges will be done after the 12 of April. So if you dont have said you want a badge for the Event, you will not get one. PM me if you wonder anything about the badges. The price for the badge will be 10 € with magnet. Ras 74 Posted May 6, 2009 Hi again all eventees! The event date is really ruching towards us as a fright train going mad. Time to start the last preaparations. There will be a small contest if you want to join it, here is what is needed, and the rules for it. Everyone needs to bring yourself 20 black pieces of any kind. There will be no word of what they will be used for. So choose wisely! You will keep those parts in some bag all the time. You can not talk to other eventees about this. You can not show your pieces to anyone else. We are 3 persons that will keep an eye of you all on this (the event group). We will also take tips from other eventees if they hear something mentioned about those 20 bricks. If someone are suspicioused to rant one out of the game for own gain, you´re out. So if you are on msn, travelling together, in any way discussing what will hapend with those bricks, your best friend can rant you out. When and where, or whatever there is a discussion, you are automaticly disqualifyed from the contest. There will be a prize in this contest that will not go with the GP presented above.
