This is the Chinese White Dolphin (中華白海豚). It is also called Humpbacked Dolphin.

First of all, I need to have a sketch!

This is the prototype of the sculpture.

04-1.jpg

It could be divided into pieces.

05-1.jpg

How could you imagine its final outlook?

06-1.jpg

Look! It's cutie! Hug me please!

08.jpg

It's finally displayed with a metallic stand.

09.jpg

I love its shadow too.

10.jpg

Is it better with more of them?

11.jpg

Oh....the baby is now in "water"!

12.jpg

It loves the showcase too much!

13.jpg

Oh...........It's the final showcase!

Thanks to WWF!

That is some seriously awesome shaping.

I'd hug it, but it's made of pointy LEGO bricks, and past experience *cough*my foot*cough* is telling me not too. :poke:

I love to make sculpture with this technique because it gives the creation of higher "resolution".

I have the same feeling as yours: I want to hug it just after the assembly of this baby!

I'll do more creations and share with you all in the future! :classic:

Hello!

That's a great example of how to realise a complex shape with only using plates. Very well done! :classic:

Another lovely creation. It's really nice to see progress from the conceptual stage to the final build and display. Great work and I'm excited to see what you'll come up with next. :sweet:

Schfio, another piece of amazing piece of creative artistic creation. I wish I can hug those dolphins too. It's really very beautifully done.
