Two Vignettes and a Funeral

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Spent the morning making three vignettes:

This one is from a scene in my favorite movie, which I was watching while I was building. Its called "The Floor is On Fire:"

This second one illustrates the dangers of setting up sun-bathing camp too close to the ocean:

And the third one is the funeral (perhaps for the unfornate fellow in the previous vignette):

More images of the floor is on fire and other similar themed vignettes:

More images of the surfer and the funeral:

Hope you like them,

Steve

I know this is stupid but what exactly is a vignette?

EDIT: Nevermind, good ol'd dictionary told me but I it still doesn't make sense LEGO-wise.

A vignette is a picture of a particular situation. In lego vocab, it's a senette in a 6X6 or 8X8 baseplate

You like doing vignettes, eh?

I'd like to do some larger stuff too, but right now I don't really have a place where I can keep a longterm larger creation, so vignettes are a way for me to keep building, while at the same time being able to clean up easily.
