Ricecracker Posted April 8, 2009 Hi everyone! I am currently in the midst of getting some rulers made, that will measure Lego. They will have two sides, like a standard ruler. One side will be to count bricks upwards, with 1/3 increments, for counting plates. The other side will be to count bricks going sideways (Not SNOT, but a standard baseplate would be 32 notches on the BrickRuler). Both sides will have a small space from the edge of 1.3mm, the thickness of the edge of a baseplate. I decided to post this here before they are complete, to see if anyone would be interested in buying some, as they will cost considerably less when ordered in bulk. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested, and once I know the pricing, I will let you know. I can't include a poll in this forum, so I will ask these questions here. 1. I understand where you're coming from, but I have answers to all questions. Firstly, I'm going to upload pictures once I get a preliminary item, so that you can all see what you'd be buying. And on one side, the increments will be to count upward, so let's say you had a tall building, and you wanted to see how many bricks tall it'd be, you could see. I'm paying approximately $8.55/ruler for an order of 100, and I think that $10 is a fair price. I will probably lower it to $9, but am not sure as of yet. I think it'll be better to lower the price rather raise it. I don't think that these would be easily done with simple workshop tools, but if you do, then you don't have to buy one.
