Another Brick In The Wall (Ein Kleiner Witz)

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all of the feedback from the community and all of the views. I get quite a bit of traffic coming from this site. I do hope you all enjoy the site and its comics.

Original Post

This seems like the most appropriate place to post about a blog with LEGO comics.

About a month ago I started a blog featuring one panel comics with simple one to two line captions. They are intended to be humorous and to tickle your funny bone. They feature my rather pitiful LEGO collection that I started roughly at the beginning of September after emerging from my dark age, in various situations with alternating characters in front of a wall of rather simple design that I periodically redo. I hope you visit and enjoy.

This is the website:

While I'm happy that I have had 59 people read this post an approx. 30-40 visiting the site from here I am still curious about whether or not anybody has any feedback.

Hehe, funny little captions, I have to say.

If LEGO published a newspaper, these would definitely deserve a spot in the comics section. Humour is a tough art to master, so I think you've done a great job in that perspective.

Keep'em coming!

Ugh that would be awful. He'll reappear just like any other character, say his line and disappear for a while. When I come up with a new character/buy a new set I get on a role with the comics. I've had that little puppy sitting on my shelf for a while now from a 10 dollar brick set.

Fantastic comics! I hope you keep them coming. I love comics.

Oh they'll keep on coming. A long summer with few prospects ahead and quite a bit of time to kill before the next semester...I wouldn't be surprised to see me hit a 1000 comics before long. A sad yet funny predicament.

Nice updates but two backgrounds in a week?

I live in turbulent times AKA moving out of my dorm room and into an apartment for the summer. If I get really creative you're all going to see some very nice comics with the two minifigures and the dragon I currently have that I somehow left out of storage for the moment.

Its the dragon from King's Castle Siege and two random townspeople minifigures. Hopefully it doesn't come to that though ha.

Always make more! Even when I have to reuse the pictures I can always find a funny caption to tack on. Next on my agenda: Buy a real domain name. I'm thinking 'Einkleinerwitz.com.'

Wordpress is a great start up but with your own site you can have more designs.

I really like Wordpress : ) I tried other blog hosting sites before I tried Wordpress and WP just has it right. I'm not too worried about the design but it would be nicer if I could rearrange stuff easier and have more than just one page to post stuff too : \
