TWTaylor Posted January 5, 2011 Hi Eurobricks. This is my first post, though I've been trying find a reason to join for a while. :) We were at the Lego store on the second, and the had two special edition Ninjago items with Sensei Wu. One was the limited edition 3D battle arena with his spinner. The second was a blister style pack with Wu, his character card, and 9 weapons. I picked up both to go with my daughters starter set selection. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the packaging, and can find nothing about the blister online. I was wondering if anyone else new anything about it. Looked like I got the last one at our store. Thanks, Tom And as a bonus example to my AFOL fandom, here's a snippet of the Sensei in his daily life since he moved into my city.
AmperZand Posted January 5, 2011 Yes, I got the Sensei Wu minifig with the battle arena from the LEGO store at the Westfield, London. They didn't have any battle arenas left when I was there last weekend but they did have the Sensei Wu blister pack. They were £9.99 each though they may have gone up since the VAT increase - I don't know. Amps
Oky Posted January 5, 2011 You mean this? It was mentioned recently in the Ninjago discussion thread (which by the way is probably where you should have posted this question). Not much is known about it, so you as a owner of this set probably know more about it than we do. Can you tell us how much it cost? Oh, and welcome to EB! FinalFeature Posted January 5, 2011 (edited) Can you tell us how much it cost? I also saw this at my local Lego store(Glendale Galleria) and I think the price is $15. Edit: found a photo on flick, link. LegoGalactus Edited January 5, 2011 by LegoGalactus
Oky Posted January 5, 2011 I also saw this at my Lego store(Glendale Galleria) and I think the price is $15. Really? Wow. I know it has three times as many weapons as a spinner pack, but it doesn't have a spinner and only two cards, so what justifies the extra five bucks? The limited edition tag? Oh well, at least it's still better than the Battle Arena which only comes with one weapon, a spinner, and a useless arena.
TWTaylor Posted January 6, 2011 It is more than a spinner set by $5, but it does include weapons you don't get in the set. It also has Sensei Wu's character card with that fake hologram effect, and a limited Force Field Card. I got this and the arena(which came with no cards) to get the spinner, because my 8-year old thought it would be cool if I was the sensei to teach her. It was an adorable moment no dad could resist, though i'm a sucker fr limited editions anyway. I went back to the Lego store today, and ad none. I'm glad I got it. refriedbeans Posted January 6, 2011 I am deeply sorry for my comment from earlier today depicting childish actions by saying " I WANT ONE ". It's just when I see a new set for a theme I love I get really excited. Thank you for your time. Refriedbeans.

TWTaylor Posted January 6, 2011 Do I spy gold curved lightsaber hilts on the nunchucks and white and green electricity pieces? Must buy for me. The nunchuks in this set aren't gold, but they are in the skull bike.
Baylego Posted January 7, 2011 What color are they then? I can't tell.
prateek Posted January 7, 2011 What color are they then? I can't tell. They look black or brown. I can't tell properly.
Ceroknight Posted January 7, 2011 wait this comes with the spinner? Limited edition, meaning TRU or other store exclusive or LEGO exclusive as in only available at S@H and Lego stores?
TWTaylor Posted January 7, 2011 (edited) What color are they then? I can't tell. They're grey. The nunchuks in the skull motor bike are gold, but the handle isn't the same as the standard lite saber handle. I picked up the Spinjitzu battle arena yesterday, and it to had a set of golden nunchuks, but they only have one handle. wait this comes with the spinner? Limited edition, meaning TRU or other store exclusive or LEGO exclusive as in only available at S@H and Lego stores? it does not include a spinner. Sensei Wu's spinner is available in the limited edition battle arena and the Spinjitzu Dojo, which also has his character card and four battle cards. It's not even listed on S@H. I got it at a Lego Store, but they don't even have it anymore. Edited January 7, 2011 by TWTaylor
Geki Brick Posted January 9, 2011 What is the point of the electricity pieces?
Delta 38 Posted January 9, 2011 Wait, so if this doesn't contain a spinner, are the parts still Chinese? While I don't want another Sensei Wu as I will be getting the set he's in, the weapons, particularly the lightning pieces, are good enough a reason for me to buy this.
