It uses two XL motors (when finished) and the gear ratio is 1:2.334.
the red equipment truck earlier in this thread is demolished now, and the tracked caterpiller loader will soon follow. :sceptic:

That looks really good! I love the curve of the wheel casing. I'm very curious to how the rest of the cabin will look.

And what will you do with the space behind the cab? Will there be a crane?

Hedgie is partly right, because i made it modular, so its easy to remove the excavator and add a crane instead, so when i am finish with the excavator and have the time and parts i will make some kind of crane for it. :classic:

Thanks for comments, and sorry for the wait, i have been busy with other things than building and when i had the time i did'nt have the famous idea... :sceptic:

but now i have some progress with the crane part:
Posted Image
i have extended the boom from my other crane, and made my own LA as the originals are not long and strong enough for the heavy boom. i have also added a motor for the turntable because therre is no room left in the undercarriage.

the weight contains a battery box, and som fishing sinkers to add weight.
Posted Image
this extra weight has two train weights in it and some more fishing sinkers. :classic:

Look's good,but i think you could make a better boom rather than copying the 8421 crane's boom.:sweet:

i know, if i get a good idea it will be changed, but i dont want a boom wider than 7 studs, and i do not have many yellow liftarms left in my collection.
