Daniel-Technic Posted June 21, 2016 Hi all. I have my own room full of Lego and I have shelfs from top to bottom full of vintage, current and technic moc and sets. I always keep my window close to keep out the sunshine and always cool. The only question is, what sort of lighting do you have for the room? I need to change the light and wonder which is the best one for the room? Daniel.
paul_delahaye Posted June 21, 2016 I think the general rule of thumb is avoid Florescent lighting in the room, avoid UV, avoid constant temperature changes, I would think you would be safe with LED or regular incandescent lighting.
dr_spock Posted June 22, 2016 LED lighting in the daylight spectrum would be low power usage and help distinguish between old grey and new grey. Also dark blue and blacks. http://www.westinghouselighting.com/color-temperature.aspx
SevenStuds Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) I had no idea that old fluorescent lights emitted UV light, so I'm glad I saw this. JGW3000 Posted June 22, 2016 I'm finding that daylight-balanced LED's are the best for any number of reasons...
