What did you buy today?

:-D No wampas were harmed :-D

Where did that come from??

Piranha

Ending credits of Shadows of the Empire (not sure if you had to finish at the hardest difficulty or not). It includes a variety of old-fashioned disclaimers and wampa jokes. It's good stuff, but I couldn't find a transcription online, unfortunately.

Even though I told myself that I wouldn't buy it because I have the original, I bought the new Naboo Fighter on Thursday. I fear for my wallet when I find the Republic Cruiser, because I will purchase it as soon as I see it.

Curiosity begs me to ask what you paid? If you don't want to say that's entirely understandable, I'm just curious about what a reasonable price for one is these days...I may have to resort to buying one eventually, so I want to know how much I need to get together for it.

What set did that part come in anyway?

Actually it didn't. There are many BL sellers out there that will sell parts that don't come in any set, or rather normal parts that come in irregular colors. They come from one of two sources:

1. Prototypes. These are usually made in red or trans-clear, and are made to see any stress marks from the mold. These are extremely limited in number

2. Special occasions. These are made for LUG meetings by TLG. These are where most of the rare colored parts come from since they're made available to regular people in large quantities. Whenever you see a part that shouldn't come in that color, it's from one of the two sources mentioned above that got leaked to BL

On my cycletrip through Belgium, France, The United Kingdom and The Netherlands I found some nice Legosets and pieces.

I bought the 6518 Baja Buggy and the Trees and fences 6319, both MISB in a store in Ieper, Belgium, 3 euro a piece.

Of course I visited Legoland Windsor (why would one go to the UK for otherwise?) and there they had some final sales concerning the 1x1 pieces used for the mosaic sets in the past. I bought 10 packs of OLD grey 1x1 pieces, 900 pieces alltogether for 4,50 euro. A good deal if you ask me.

wow, great deals you had. Did you had good weather in England? :-)

I was last week with friends in Eindhoven and bought the castle set from last year with sir Adric for 20 euro instead of 30 by the Toys'r'us. Later I went with my friends to the rima shop in Deurne (little store who sells almost only lego and Playmobile) and bought the littlest new castle set, crosbowattack. My friends bought the tan house and the red truck. This week I bought the vikingarmy wagon with 7 vikings for only 18 euro in stead of 26 with the Intertoys.

Speaking of good deals, it looks like you did some research before buying, I have to check out that little store in Deurne sometime.

No heavy rain on my head this holiday, Most of the water fell in the north of the country and my tent only flooded once.... *wacko*
