WhiteFang Posted June 9, 2008 I don't see the maid having access, but Mike the servant definitely would. Now if the king had been killed by dusty curtains, then I'd say the maid did it. But yes, I do think we could use the doctor to diagnose the cause of death. Oh doctor, where are you? Funny he hasn't shown up when we need him most. Downright suspicious, if you ask me. I wouldn't agreed less. Where can the doctor be? Mike is the main suspect down here. He need to do some serious clearing up right now. The wine need to be checked immediately. I think Paul, the Cellar Keeper is suspicious too. He is the one whom mananged the cellar at the basement. We need to explore all possibilites.
Atoll Dweller Posted June 9, 2008 Oops. I meant to say maybe people will be more willing to reveal themselves now. It seems that many of the inhabitants of the castle are not replying. ~ Calvin ~
Dragonator Posted June 9, 2008 (OOC: For those of you interested, here are some quick pictures I took of all the characters: Hope that offers some insight. I won't tell you who's who... for now. ) Grim started up and looked at the crazy Hinckley person leaning over him. Stop bugging me! That's peer pressure you know, ganging up on a poor old wizard to answer your questions. Beware of those who try to mislead you, Stick by your instincts, Trust only your judgement, And yours alone. The doctor, pray tell, has not yet confirmed, so his absence is for obvious reason. Kill him if you like. He sat back down and was heard to mutter: Woman and their bloody herbs... Hinckley Posted June 9, 2008 I think this Hinckley character is suspicious too, with all of his repetition and his craziness. Let's watch out for him then. Which one is he?
Batbrick Posted June 9, 2008 Let's watch out for him then. Which one is he? My goodness man! Be this a bluff or truth? I dare not decide which yet! I can tell you this though: Unless we reveal our names and occupations then we must surely all be of suspect! What say you? Should we pul down this web of deceit? Batbrick Away! iamded Posted June 9, 2008 Hm, revealing our positions could greatly help in finding the killer, then again it could lead to a lot of wrongful accusations.Once we all know who's who, not only will it help us find the killer, it will also give the traitors knowledge of who's who, which we really don't need. I don't want to be part of a group that convicts an innocent (like back in Rome... ) so I'll try not to vote until I'm sure of it.
Shadows Posted June 9, 2008 (OOC: For those of you interested, here are some quick pictures I took of all the characters: What is it with wizards and their big hats? Bluervo, be quiet! Why don't you make me! The doctor, pray tell, has not yet confirmed, so his absence is for obvious reason. Kill him if you like. [/color] There is guilt in silence. I'm beginning to think I'd like to see the good doctor dangling from the end of a rope. And what of the cellar keeper, cook and servant? Perhaps this is our band of traitors? WhiteFang Posted June 9, 2008 Let's watch out for him then. Which one is he? This man, Hinckley may have wires loose in its head. But I believed he might have saw something related to our King mishap. Perhaps, we should try and understand what he might have seen. Meanwhile, we need to thrash out the servant and the cellar keeper for some serious questioning.

Perhaps, we should try and understand what he might have seen. Meanwhile, we need to thrash out the servant and the cellar keeper for some serious questioning. WhiteFang raises a good point. I'm sure Hinckley's blow to the head had something to do with the plot against our good king. Perhaps we should wait until he regains his memory over the next few days... or perhaps another hit in the head will do the trick...
Hinckley Posted June 9, 2008 I don't feel a bump on my head, though. I remember being smart before the King was murdered. Perhaps that spell the Wizard cast on us affected me a little different. Perhaps I have some magic allergy or something. Oh, a note! I remember I was given a note. It was about the traitors...a clue or something. Someone gave me a note. Did any of you give me a note? Maybe I'm remembering it all wrong. Maybe I didn't get a note. Hi, I'm Hinckley. I think I've been hit on the head or something...I need to go lie down... Inertia Posted June 9, 2008 That Hinckley guy looks pretty strange at the moment, I wonder if he'll get his memory back or not, what's all this about a note? Maybe he is the key to this murder, if he can remember anything! Maybe that sleeping wizard had something to do with this man's ailment?

Maybe he is the key to this murder, if he can remember anything! Maybe that sleeping wizard had something to do with this man's ailment? At this Majiko started up again. What what what? Don't talk to me about no ailments, I ain't good at those. Why don't you have a chat with the doctor or Lady Suzanne, they could both give you something for your head Lord Savril. Although the doctor seems to be absent at the moment anyway... Majiko then turned to stash2sixx. Mike, get me a class of something strong will you, and a little muffin or something to tide me over to lunch. And ask chef what he's making, I'm dying to know! Some of us just haven't revealed who we are. Anyhow, I'm too confused. Plus, I don't trust any of the nobles. They're always the ones at the head of any plot to assassinate kings and such. Plus, he wouldn't have been too shocked to meet any one of them in his private chamber would he?
Pencoin Posted June 9, 2008 <thinks back to the night before> yes i remeber now i saw mike the servent at the kings chamers in the night, but then again i forgotten who mike the servent is (sorry for d-post but you cant edit) <still deep in thought> eureka! thats it the crazy wizard has told us the Stash is really Mike the servent its hmi we need to question but i havent seen him today has anyone else, maybe he fled knowing he would be killed if captured
Shadows Posted June 9, 2008 I'm too confused. If it's the stuff I post in colour, you can safely ignore all of it, it's just the audience making jokes most of the time. You'd have to read the EBRP regularly to get it. Plus, I don't trust any of the nobles. They're always the ones at the head of any plot to assassinate kings and such. Plus, he wouldn't have been too shocked to meet any one of them in his private chamber would he? Now see, there we agree. Who assumes the throne when a king dies like this? The family. eureka! thats it the crazy wizard has told us the Stash is really Mike the servent its hmi we need to question but i havent seen him today has anyone else, maybe he fled knowing he would be killed if captured He's definitely on my list, but not as high as the doctor, cook, or cellar keeper. If Mike is involved, he had to get the poison somewhere (the doctor). If he isn't, he could just be a scapegoat for the real killer, who would have had to use the cook or cellar keeper to add poison to the food or wine. Ultimately, where does the poison come from? You know, it keeps coming back there. I hope I know how to do this right. That's what she said! Bluervo, stop that, this is getting exciting! I've seen it before. Really? Sure, it was in an episode of Law and Order: Medieval Crimes Unit I always meant to watch that ... Shhhhh! VOTE: Damien (a doctor and herbalist) He had access to poison and poisonous herbs by the nature of his work. He would know how much and how to administer them. He would be trusted enough to visit the king in bed. If I'm wrong, I'd strongly suggest he speak up now! Who is with me here?

You'd have to read the EBRP regularly to get it. Comments: I am not that confused with it. I will suggest that Mike should speak up now. Mike is the likely one whom send the food to the King, last night. If he is an innocent, ask him to clear things now. He should tell us, right from the start what is going on? Who are the ones that intereacted with him, or talk to him. Even if he is innocent or not, he is defintely not capable enough to be the mastermind. I wonder who have bad blood with our king. Shadows Posted June 9, 2008 (edited) Comments: I am not that confused with it. In the Audience: Hey! It's Lord Kenneth! No, he's an actor. But he's the actor that plays Lord Kenneth! Well, he does look familiar. I'll be, it is him. I knew it! You two really need to grow up. Look who's talking! Wait! That guy sleeping over there, the one that keeps muttering something about being hit on the head... Looks like he crashes more than just your show, huh? Finkley? Stinkley? Wrinkly? Something like that. Edited June 9, 2008 by imperialshadows I'll be damned if I don't fix a broken colour tag in a post with no real story content.
commanderbly42 Posted June 9, 2008 He's definitely on my list, but not as high as the doctor, cook, or cellar keeper. OK, as one of those high on your list - I'll speak up (but I'm not Mike). I can't remember much from before the wizard was killed. I always hear snippets of information from the guards while I do my job but I don't know if they'll be much help since I can't remember much that they've said. Darned wizard! Stash2Sixx Posted June 9, 2008 Well since I've been sold out already..... I am Mike the servant. I am a LOYAL servant of the keep. I delivered a plate of food to the king the night before he died, and was afraid that I might be blamed for his death. But since it appears that the food has gone untouched, there is no way the food could have poisoned him. I do find it interesting though that Imperialshadows and Whitefang are quick to start yelling and hollering and pointing fingers. To me, these always seem to be the actions of a guilty man (men), or at least guilty enough that they know something. CHEW on that ya' Scurvy Dawgs! Mike Loyal servant of the King
Atoll Dweller Posted June 9, 2008 Well, the way you yelled it is pretty convincing.... VOTE:DAMIEN I'll be watching you, Mike.
commanderbly42 Posted June 9, 2008 I agree with Mike but I'm still waiting for some of those nobles to post in their own defence before I vote. Also, I want to wait for Damien to post before I put him up for execution.
Quarryman Posted June 9, 2008 Indeed, Damien might be both suspicious and a likely candidate due to having access to possible poisonous substances, but I still would like to hear his story before casting any votes.

To me, these always seem to be the actions of a guilty man (men), or at least guilty enough that they know something. I do not accuse the innocents wrongly. I am putting all suspect possibilites into investigation. I thank you, for standing up and telling what you known. Till now, the cellar keeper and the doctor is still remaining quiet. We don't even know what is the cause of his death too. Nevertheless, let's gather up the clues. We need to find the first involved party now. Mike, if you deliver the food only? How about the drink? Did you bring it to the King yourself?
Pencoin Posted June 9, 2008 I vote mike (stash) the old wizard metioned him and i saw him the last night before the king died... or was he already dead? he put up a good argurment but even so he says the food hadnt been touched but he would say that if hes guilty
