LEGOscum Posted June 15, 2009 (edited) That's amazing! I've seen Baronsat's UCS Shuttle before and thought that he'd captured it perfectly and then you come along! Will the wings support their own weight in flight mode though? And I think the cockpit should be angled a little steeper. DarthSion Posted June 15, 2009 OMD that is crazy, that is one of the best models i have ever seen.
KimT Posted June 15, 2009 That's amazing! I've seen Baronsat's UCS Shuttle before and thought that he'd captured it perfectly and then you come along! I second that You really do have too much time on your hands since you've got time for this and the other UCS models you've done. Dammit I need a LEGO room to get started on achieving such skill and ability.
dunamis Posted June 15, 2009 Wow, great job! I love all the details. Both of your models (B-wing and this one) are outstanding.
Spyder Posted June 15, 2009 Holy-frickin-crap! So many perfect Lego creations, so little time to reply to them all. They just keep coming! The engine is spot-on, and the cockpit just (in a good way) Its hard to use words to explain it, especially since my jaw has dropped to the ground and wants to stay there... gratefulnat Posted June 15, 2009 I'm at a loss for words... Can't wait to see it when it's completely done.

LegoPigeon Posted June 17, 2009 Good job with the Shuttle Tydirium :) How long did it take to build it? Which part of the ship was the hardest to build? Where did you get the black window from? It blends perfectly with the cockpit of the ship sention.
k_peek_2000 Posted June 17, 2009 I have one of the Kenner 1984 Imperial Shuttles, and yours is almost spot on to the real thing! Awesome job!
cavegod Posted June 17, 2009 Good job with the Shuttle Tydirium :) How long did it take to build it?Which part of the ship was the hardest to build? Where did you get the black window from? It blends perfectly with the cockpit of the ship sention. the hardest bit was the three wings believe it or not the amount of technic pins and axles in them plus nearly 100 1x1 brick with hole in each one! the window is a 12 x 4 windscreen with car window tint on. took about 2 months including parts ordering and working out problems. Ratshot Posted June 17, 2009 That looks great but I have 1 question though...can it hold minifigs?
cavegod Posted June 17, 2009 That looks great but I have 1 question though...can it hold minifigs? yes 4 in the cockpit, the body would hold a lot more if you remove the landing gear mechanism.

Jerac Posted September 5, 2009 It is not "inspired" by dmac. It is almost "copied"... Original: (gull gallery of dmac's original ship here)
cavegod Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) ahh but if it was copied it would be the same which it is not, i think that covers it never the less it is now finished, been working on something else recently. Edited January 4, 2010 by cavegod
KimT Posted January 4, 2010 Agreed. It's kinda hard making something that bog without it slightly resembling other MOCs. A shuttle is a shuttle after all.
RoryoCox Posted January 4, 2010 That MOC makes other peoples effort look bad. Honestly it is just amazing. I am sure it cost a lot and probably take a great deal of work to get all the angles and shapes right. Thanks for sharing it with us. I for one has defiantly learnt some new techniques from the MOC. Cannot wait until you post some of your other MOCs.
Big Cam Posted January 6, 2010 Wow, I'm happy this got bumped, this is quite amazing. It looks so legit, just like the movie version, fantastic job!!
