Mr Seaweed Posted January 20, 2009 You spelled "loads" wrong.
Mister Phes Posted January 20, 2009 English not your first language? Visit Dictionary.com's definition of lode and see definition 3. a rich supply or source.
Mr Seaweed Posted January 20, 2009 English not your first language?Visit Dictionary.com's definition of lode and see definition 3. a rich supply or source. You should search loads too, it's more logical and makes more sense.
Mister Phes Posted January 21, 2009 I know the definition of "load" and I know "mother load" is not the correct syntax. A "mother lode" usually refers to great riches or a great supply, which being the case of the eBay auctions presented. See, here's the Wikipedia article for "mother lode" - meanwhile there is NO Wikipedia article for "mother load". Why? Because it's not expression in English that's why. So now you will be quiet now

Mister Phes Posted January 21, 2009 I provided two sources, the other being Dictionary.com. Argue all you like, I did my best to educate you so if you wish to remain ignorant of the meaning of "mother lode" that is your prerogative. However, you're not contributing anything useful to this thread, so unless you have a "mother lode" LEGO auction to share I insist you refrain from posting in it again. Capt. Kirk Posted January 21, 2009 Do not understand me wrong and I find it super that ebay-pirate-stuff comes in the spotlight... But I wonder myself sometimes, if someone of us really buys something of this ebay-pirate-stuff ?
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 21, 2009 Unfortunately, most fabulous Ebay bargains are only shipped to the USA or UK. And I don't live there...
