Review: 4981 Spongebob - Chum Bucket

Recommended Posts

What a nice review of a real great and funny SB set! *y*

I just *wub* that we got two new brilliant Spongebob

facial expressions with that and the Boating School set! :'-)

Endless underwater playing fun on! :-D

I'd like to be under the sea

In an octopus' garden in the shade

He'd let us in, knows where we've been

In his octopus' garden in the shade

I'd ask my friends to come and see

An octopus' garden with me

I'd like to be under the sea

In an octopus' garden in the shade.

We would be warm below the storm

In our little hideaway beneath the waves

Resting our head on the sea bed

In an octopus' garden near a cave

We would sing and dance around

because we know we can't be found

I'd like to be under the sea

In an octopus' garden in the shade

We would shout and swim about

The coral that lies beneath the waves

(Lies beneath the ocean waves)

Oh what joy for every girl and boy

Knowing they're happy and they're safe

(Happy and they're safe)

The Beatles

Indeed !!

And I had more that song in mind:

Under the sea

Under the sea

There'll be no accusations

Just friendly crustaceans

Under the sea!

:-D

Wait tomorrow for the other review hehe !!

First off, great review, lots of nice detailed pics! *y*

Now the serious part. I absolutely refuse to buy this set!!!

There. I did it. I finally convinced myself not to buy a LEGO set. I absolutely won't buy this one, no matter what, no way, no how! Unless it's on a really good sale ...

What I will do, however, is pick up some of those printed buns from bricklink. I see mushrooms in future mocs!

Don't get me wrong, it looks like a decent enough set and all, but enough is enough and I have to draw the line somewhere. I had previous drawn it at Avatar, then I found them on clearance and that little voice in my head said, "oh look, nice parts, cheap price, and only 2 sets to have the entire line ..." That voice gets me in a lot of trouble.

But really, great review!

Well, lucky you. I couldn't find any. They were sold out too fast! Drat!

So you finally got a new set to review and what a set it was! This looks like a sure sweet set mate :-)

Gotta love all the little details from the show that lego have thrown in, planktons hat suits him so well also X-D

Its just such a shame that TLC seem to be giving us stickers in so many new sets these days >:-(

Really nice review! The set never looked that impressive to me, but the inside of the chum bucket really caught my attention! There are a lot of great pieces and parts here (and nice pose of the hand :-P)

Can't wait until the other SB review

Bwahahaha! Love that little "mod" on the fish hand you got there, Yoda! ;-)

Stellar review! Up until this point, I was never really tempted to actually consider this as a buy, but after reading this, I'm convinced! I'm really digging how this is truly the ultimate Plankton set with almost all the machines and gadgets that he's ever used in the show. While I would have liked a giant Plankton robot, I'd say this is perfect enough! Can't wait for the next Spongebob review, Yoda!

ok its time for me to make a conffesion..

i have never wathced this show in my life!!!

and im not a bit curious on what the fuss is about..

your review is super as always yoda

but i really cant say anything about the set cause i dont know what it is about!

i have seen photos from the show on google so that i can compare with the sets and i think that the bucket is not very nice..

it has those huge grey pieces that make the bucket and it looks kind of boring..

(and im really curious on how you can buy every single set!! how big is your house?!! 8-

Another great *yoda* review! *wub* If it wasn't for the unreasonable AUD price of both new sets I would really want this; instead I bought Bikini Bottom which is on its way to me now. (With an ice cube tray...)

I look forward to the next review! *sweet*

Awesome set! I really like the robots, and that tiny tank could be quite useful! All the fancy machinery in there really make it more like a lab than a restaurant! :-D The thing I found most funny was the positioning of the middle finger on the hand. :-D :-D Definitely gave me quite a laugh. X-D

The same counts for me. I have never seen a single show. So I only can argue about the bricks as are.

Its not a house, its a "big" appartment for my age in Paris but always way too small to have my models on display *sing* We all have issue about space required and actual space |-/

finally this guys tallks about space *sweet* such a shame it's in a completely different meaning of the word though... :'-)

Loooool, don't say that too loud though

That's ok, master yoda, i've decided to totally ignore the posts from this member in the future... X-D

as for the review, if it actually is a review and not a homage, cos you really have to be clear about that on these boards :-| , ... well... what can I say? It's not a space set, is it... X-D

it looks fine though... nothing too special...

Fahrenheit 451 *sweet*!

And I thought it would mean: 4 responsible members of TLC belong to area 51 :-| :-$

But the stickers are made of plastic, not paper... What is the temperature when plastic catches fire? ;-)
