Ensign Samantha York / Capt.JohnPaul was transporting a tree across the rec-room in hopes that a tree stump would appear. The game had gone seriously downhill, so she figured the host might take pity on her and give her special protection or something.

img_4193.jpg

But she was wrong, dead wrong. Get it? Dead wrong? I'm running out of jokes.

"Look at this old style blaster I found in storage. It says "Han Shot First" on it." the figure said.

"Really? I always believed Han Shot Second."

"That's just in the new version so the kiddies don't get upset."

*BZAP*

img_4194.jpg

And that was the end of the brave navigator.

img_4195.jpg

Elsewhere, Lieutenant Thomas Hornby / Shadows was waltzing around the engine room, probably looking for clues. Or maybe he knew he was being targeted and he just didn't want to have to be killed in the same setting as everyone else.

img_4196.jpg

"Aha." the figure says. "I have you in handcuffs. You're trapped."

"I've gotten out of handcuffs before. I'm a very kinky person." the horny Hornby said.

img_4197.jpg

The figure went over to the "electrify the engine button, or whatever"

img_4198.jpg

ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

img_4199.jpg

And that ended the life of the Lieutenant.

img_4200.jpg

"You are all abject failures. Out of the 23 of the original crew, 6 of you remain! Regardless, Lieutenant Vanderbilt and Lieutenant Francis were both members of the League of Purists."

The remaining shippies cheered.

img_4200.jpg

"However, Lieutenant Hornby and Ensign York were both Loyalists."

The crowd mourned the loss of the two.

img_4200.jpg

"This vessel is now on lockdown mode. That means there will be no more leaving this room. I have guards posted on the outside, anyone caught leaving this room will be arrested immediately. Arrangements for bedding will be taken care of."

img_4200.jpg

"Additional repercussions shall come, however I will speak of that later. I've been reusing the same picture four times, and I think the audience is starting to notice."

Rules:

1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Loyalists or the League of Purists. To win the game, the Loyalists must vote or kill off all the League of Purists, while the League of Purists needs to outnumber the Loyalists. Additionally, keep on the lookout for other factions.

2. Each day will be played out in its own topic. During a day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting must be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player, meaning that over half of the remaining players must vote for the same player to warrant a lynch.

3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end after those 72 hours. After the day has concluded, a night will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of nighttime.

4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day.

5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage.

6. Do not play the game outside the day threads. Similarly, do not post out-of-character inside the day threads. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game.

7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on.

8. Don't edit your posts, or I will cry.

9. Post in all of the day threads or I will cry.

10. Please don't metagame to much, or I will cry.

11. I hate taking avatar photos, so don't make fun of me or I'll cry.

12. Violation of the above rules will result in a 5 vote penalty against you on your first offense, and the death of your character on your second offense. Your character will also die in the most gruesome and awful way possible. I also won't cry.

Excellent, we voted out the correct person. I've shared my night result with my fellow trusted townies, I'll discuss it with them first, then probably share it.

Hmm, It's great that we nabbed another scumbag through our lynch yesterday, but the loss of two Loyalists overnight is concerning. I'm especially bummed that we lost our protector. :sceptic:

I'm interested to hear the discoveries that were made last night. Jones sounds like he might have something substantial share, provided he decides to do so publicly.

With so few of us remaining, there's nowhere to hide. I'm definitely hopeful that the town can pull through.

Three for one at this point is one heck of a trade. "Wait, don't you mean 'two for two'?" No, of course not. York is dead, we should be rejoicing!

With any luck, Jones' information from last night will make up for the loss of our protector. If he'd gotten a Purist result, I'd think he'd have just brought it forward off the bat, so I doubt it will be that easy if and when he shares that publicly. Did you pull another 'Unknown'?

Awesome work yesterday everyone, taking down two of the purists. I am very saddened to have lost Lieutenant Hornby, he was a good man and particularly perceptive in sussing out the last few purists we have found. York, not so much.

We're on a roll here, and I have a good feeling that today we'll continue that. :sweet:

It seems that Ensign Holloway led us well in the charge on Lieutenant Francis... my compliments.

At most there are two purists remaining, but there is at least one. Yesterday's vote against Wheeler was supported quickly by several people, and Wheeler is yet to be cleared. That said, Francis and Vanderbilt were both rather eager to cast votes against Wheeler that would have lynched Wheeler and rendered a single unvote useless if other considerations had not intervened. This seems to clear Wheeler. I'm curious if many of you agree with that idea or if you feel that Wheeler should still be near the top of our suspect list having not been investigated as town.

If we don't think Wheeler should be our lynch target for today, and I'm not suggesting that I think she should... then we need to choose from among those of us who've been cleared by other means to this point.

In my opinion, the few indications of suspicion against Lieutenant Wheeler have now been put to rest after the votes yesterday, particularly looking at how the two purists voted.

My vote will be going to Ensign Williams. He is the last remaining person that Ensign Holloway was particularly suspicious of, and Lieutenant Hornby and I were discussing him yesterday before Hornby's untimely death. Hornby was of the opinion that Williams is the last Purist, and that we must lynch him if we wish to be rid of the purists for good. I agree with Hornby, Ensign Williams has been of note to me for a while, and was one of the two people that Holloway narrowed us down to a few days back.

There are only six of us left, and of those six we have the most reason to vote out Williams. Let us do so.

That's great and all, but maybe you could actually say why you suspect that I'm the last purist, other than because two other people suspected me? You say that I've been of note to you for a while, so surely you must have some actual reasons? Further, it seemed to me (and was never really addressed, as far as I can remember) that Holloway's case could just as easily have been about himself, except for the simple fact that he was investigated.

I wouldn't necessarily say that having two purists secure an early band wagon should clear the target, but in this case, Wheeler hasn't really done anything to make me think that he needs to be cleared. I didn't think Wheeler was a good target yesterday, and I remain of that opinion today.

Sorry folks we're trying to straighten out something behind the scenes, that may catch us the last scum if it is true.

Right, well while you're doing that I'm going to place my vote and get things started.

Vote: Ensign Allison Williams (swils)

Without bothering to comment on your reasoning at all. Gosh, your case is so convincing, I think I'm going to Vote: Smailliw Nosilla (sliws) too!

Alright, here we go.

This very well may be the last day, if there's only one scum left (as we strongly suspect). I think it's safe to reveal my role to prove how exactly I know who we're voting out. I'm the tracker. Last night I saw Harper targeting Hornby. Without a doubt, Harper needs to go.

Vote: Chief Security Officer Lieutenant George Harper (Dragonator)

I've haven't been working with the town block until I was cleared by the voting pattern yesterday, so I haven't really been coordinating my action for very long. Thanks to our teamwork, we finally caught a scum!

Alright after a long back and forth with Wheeler, I've been convinced that his results make sense and taking into account the investigation results we have thus far, it appears that this makes the most logical sense. We know that Wheeler had a lynch set in stone against him by 2 scum so he has basicallly been verified, in addition to lining up with my statement analysis.

The fact that his "result" makes no sense whatsoever though raises some doubt. Has he given you a list of all the people he has tracked over the last 7 days?

If he is claiming I'm the killer then he must be either neutral or scum. I would guess perhaps neutral, as I am still certain that Williams is our last Purist, based on my discussions with Hornby and my own observations. Hornby told me he also communicated his suspicions to Commander Wilder, so he should be able to verify that I am not lying there.

Seriously, this sudden "oh I saw you kill him" line makes as little sense as some of York's stupid logic.

We have a list of the night actions and they match up with people's actions including those on the town block and in accordance with Tammo's blocking pattern, we've also got the point that two scum wanted him killed, so I can agree that he might be a neutral, however the town's job is not to get rid of neutrals but to finish off the scum and your lying about not having an action is only convinced me more.

I.

Do.

Not.

Have.

An.

Action.

:hmpf:

I agree that we should be taking out the scum, that is why I have no intention of changing my vote. Wheeler is trying to frame me, which would indicate that he is likely neutral. If you have any sense, you will see the lie in his statement.

I would be very interested in seeing this list that he has provided you with. This could well be our last day after all, and it is important that we vote for the right person.

And again I'll ask you, what are those suspicions? I'll be bluntly honest -- I haven't got a clue what's going on behind closed doors, so I don't have any insight into the accusation against you. You haven't set off any alarms for me up to this point. Yet you're apparently dead set on this idea that I'm the last purist, even in the face of what you claim to be a flat out lie (you don't have an action, yet you somehow got tracked as targeting Hornby). Am I just the easy target for you because you don't want to risk attacking someone in the town block? Because that's what it looks like.

Well it's been along day, most of it getting us nowhere, but I think we'll have to bring it to a close at some point. But first let me, vote: Lieutenant Williams (Swils). Now why you may ask. Well first off Wheeler's role-claim was a sting (I know I think we're all stinged out for the rest of this voyage) he never was a tracker. We used his claim result to gather statements/reactions from both you Williams, and Harper. If Harper was a dumb scum he would have role-claimed and we would have had him, unfortunately he did not and responded in either a townie or a smart scum way by claiming vanilla and that Wheeler had to be lying. This reaction paired with Hornby's interactions with him, his own private transmissions, our investigation results, and yes my own post analysis method, have convinced me that Williams is a better choice for today.

Williams, you have to understand that the accusation is being placed on you not because we caught you as scum, it is that you are the only one who has not been "caught" as town. Process of elimination, old chap, and you are one of the final if not the most simplist variables that needs testing.
