Hello,

my new MOC is ARC-170 starfighter from Episode III. It's my favorite ship and like Venator it's one of my "dream MOCs".

Dimensions: 95 x 60 x 30 cm

Certainly do!

The attention to detail makes this more than pleasing to admire.

I didn't realize you had a Eurobricks.

I blogged it last night when I saw it on Flickr. Nice work on those great curves in the body.

Great work !

You captured the shape of the ship very very well.

I'm not a big fan of the SNOT wings, though.

Do you plan to share more photos to see how it is built ?

The ARC is on my todo list too.

Many times I thought how I could build it. At the moment, I don't have the solution yet, given that I want to includ mechanism for the wings.

I will certainly use your work when I do my own ARC.

I like them. They make the wings smoother than if they were plates.

Really nice, and very ambitious - this would make a great UCS - I think your effort could easily compete with Lego's latest prequel-trilogi UCS model

What is the approx brick count?

I don't mind the snot wings - although one could argue they are bit thick, I do think they are better than the alternative - nicely done! :classic:

@Anio - can't wait to see your take on this :classic:

Beautiful work. Of course, I love the SNOT wings, but my favorite part is the little portion of the fuselage scooped out near the front of the engines. That part is absolutely perfect, and it makes the nose transition so well to the rest of the ship.

Beautiful! Star Wars MOC's rarely get any better than this, if you ask me. When I first saw your creation, I didn't realize how big it actually was. Awesome job anyway.

This is so goddam close to perfect.

I'd hire you in an iffy if I was head of TLG's Star Wars designers

Good job as usual.

My jaw just dropped to the floor, this is a stunning model of the ARC-170!

I can't say there is one part i like best, because it's all deliciously good. The SNOT-ed wings don't bother me at all. The wings aren't even that thick considering the sheer size of the model, and i doubt that any plated alternative would look more smooth and elegant.

Undoubtedly the best ARC-170 MOC I've laid my eyes on! I've always been a fan of this ship, and the attention to detail of this UCS creation is simply superb! I could recognize how even the smallest of detailing is very accurate to the reference material, a testament of not only your building expertise but how well-researched your planning is and of course the execution in real bricks is even much better. Excellent work man! Though out of curiosity, any rough estimate how mayn parts did you use in this MOC?
