Missing prints.

I would love to have some of those Blue barding. I think they look good just like that.

I know I've posted these in another thread a while ago, but they apply here.

I have a Shogun who likes to keep quiet:

And I also have some Gold Knight armor with sloppy printing that I got replaced.

I agree, getting misprints all the time would be annoying.

Also, Clone O'Patra, that's a pretty precise misprint. It's also the first Ninja misprint I've seen.

Not quite a misprint, but more of a 'non-print', I bought these shields off an ebay seller. They now form my Crown King's personal guards.

Need to rush home and check my pig now! *huh*

You guys ever heard of Brasso?

Don't buy parts that aren't printed for more than you'd pay for a printed part.

It's a rip-off and you can easily de-print parts yourself.

Which I kinda believe those eBayers to be doing :sceptic:

A cottonstick and some brasso does a lot to a print and it's nearly invisible as it actually polishes as well.

I didn't :D... and I can tell a mis-print from a 'custom' piece when I see one. But thanks for the insight, I'm sure it does happen.

I've never bought an individual mis-print part, and never will. The thing I like about mis-prints is the uniqueness and rarity of them, and when you get one, you know you are one of few who has it. :classic:

Those shields look really good, 'andhe'. Good to see this topic back in action.

That hat is probably my favourite Brasso project ever. And white shields. Something about white turns out so nice.

Thanks for posting them Runamuck, very interesting.

You could use the unprinted horses as statues.

Anyway, here's that pig I was talking about:

Gah!

I haven't called Lego for a replacement part, he's kind of grown on me. :dblush:

Thank you for this pic. :roflmao: :roflmao:

I have the the brown troll king crown, I don't care about that, it makes it more trolly I think, as much of their stuff is made from wood. But since I first bought the set it has always been really loose. It can sit on the figures head but it doesn't snap in like other things.

If you read Stiel's Kingdom Chess Set review, you will notice a number of misprints and quality control issues with the set.

Delta 38 also posted a couple LotR misprints he had. Most notable Merry's face. Hi Aragorn also has his colors swapped on his torso. His Ringwraith is missing the silver metallic belt buckle (I have this as well on one of my Ringwraiths, though it is hard to notice since it's such a tony printing and the dull gray looks very similar).
