WIP: A Lego City Street

Recommended Posts

Very nice pavement, great street scape work 'iDave' ! :classic:

Now a piece of advice, it's about the bank, more to the fact it's side windows - they are mean't to let the light in.

You reversed the positioning of the pizza bar....doing the same to the bank and leaving a 4 to 6 wide gap between the bank and the other structure to use as an alley way...the crook has to break in and escape somehow ?:grin:

Brick On 'iDave' !

Thanks for the advice, it crossed my mind to so I managed to re-arrange some buildings to get that fixed. The other option was to give one of the robbers a jetpack

There is still a gap next to the bank, but I mirrored it and placed in the little corner of the parking spaces.

In the gap there is room for the cash truck to "try" to deliver the goods safely

So this is how it looks at the moment :classic:

Still thinking of getting another straight road plate to get that square out of the way.

Wow. nice work :classic:

How many of the modular buildings do you have?

At the moment I only got the 10211 Grand Emporium and the 10197 Fire Brigade, I'm hoping that a mate of mine gets the Green Grocer in stock next month. The Pet Shop will be joining the rest somewhere in september hopefully. The Cafe Corner and the Market Street are a bit to expensive for me. There's little change of those two joining the other building unfortunately.

Perfect, a simple change which gives this street scape that realistic feel to it....just walk down the street. The classic hamburger shop is excellent touch and spot on for being next to the bike repair shop.

Excellent work 'iDave' !

More.....keep going and Brick On ! :moar:

Wow! Its been a while. Since my last update a lot has happened! We moved, got a couple of kids, got to expend my collection and now have my own dedicated room to legos! Well, have to share a little bit of that room, but it's still a lot of space!

not quite sure if should remain updating here, because it's far more then just a street anymore.

But here are a few pics of the last couple of weeks:
