Bag Charms

Recommended Posts

Can you be a little more specific. What are bag charms?

Are you talking about polybag sets?

You're talking about sets like these, right? I don't think the sets themselves are actually buildable, but if you're talking about actual instruction for the fake models, then I don't know what to tell you. They should all be fairly easy to figure out.

I agree, the Y-wing and Landspeeder especially would be easy to recreate just taking a quick glance at the pictures. The Millennium Falcon would be trickier to duplicate, but being covered with the round dishes, any inconsistencies wouldn't be at all detectable.

Now I feel bad. A few months ago, I dropped my MF keychain, and the upper dish popped off. I thought about doing a quick inventory of parts, or some instructions in MLCad, but ended up just supergluing it back together. How handy would that have been now?

I do remember that the center of the design was this 1 x 1 brick with studs on the sides (that should be obvious), but I don't exactly remember what else was in there. Except there was a specialised plastic insert that covered the dishes in the front.

The upper dish will be the hardest to replicate. As far as I know, you can't buy the printed one on BL as a separate piece.

If you want, I could try and remember how fit together. But you'd be at the mercy of my pathetic memory.
